You will not believe the friendliness and hospitality of this Inn, especially compared with modern motels. At 3:30 pm you will get freshly baked cookies, and for breakfast it's a fantastic buffet of delicious items beautifully presented. Downtown is within walking distance--our 90 year old friend walked it. It has been over a month since we were there and I...

Very affordable and clean. Nice breakfast bar in the morning. Allows pets! We walked a few blocks into town for dinner. If it were cold you would want to drive. But everything in the town is within walking distance.

This was our second stay at The Old Town Inn. After hiking across the mountain pass from Aspen we stayed here for a day of R&R. The staff was as helpful and gracious this August as they were last year. Great included-breakfast and gave us much needed advice regarding the weather which would change plans for all hikers at the...

Reasonable price and reasonable value. The rooms were clean and well maintained. For a small fee our dogs were welcome. A full breakfast buffet, tasty and nourishing, was provided every morning. It only lacked variety. We stayed five nights and the breakfast was always the same. Staff was friendly and helpful. My ONLY complaint - the walls were thin with...

The people were nice and the room appeared clean, but the carpets are dark and very old. They use the old 1970's type bedspreads (and mine smelled funny). The air conditioner smelled as if it were to set afire any moment. There are no views to speak of on the back side of the hotel. However, the location is great!...

We always stay here for Art Fest. Always clean, always friendly and a nice spread for a continental breakfast. Warm, fresh baked cookies in the afternoon too. Hot tub hits the spot! Have bikes for customer use too,but you don't need them because you are super close to all.

Traveling to Crested Butte from Aspen Colorado is nearly impossible in the Winter but in the summer it is less that a three hour beautiful , scenic trip. We were lucky to reserve at the Old Town Inn . It is centrally located within easy walking distance to Old Town. Very nice place.

We stayed here three nights. As some reviewers have said, the property is older. But you know what? It just has more charm. It is very well cared for. The age doesn't matter. Where to start??? It was very clean. To us, that's critical in any hotel. It is extremely well kept. Yes, older property, but well maintained and it...

This is a very old property in Crested Butte, right on the highway coming into town. We got a room on the 2nd floor in the back as I'm a light sleeper. Bed very comfortable, wall mounted AC noisy but worked. Internet connection good. Breakfast very generous with muffins, fruit, hard boiled eggs, pastries etc. Very nicely presented and lots...

Hello, Thanks for the nice review! I just want to clarify that we do normally have screens on the room windows. We had to remove them for a few days while we painted the exterior of the building and, unfortunately, this happened during your stay. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience. We know it's no fun dealing with bugs...

We had booked a room at the ski resort during the ski offseason, and the hotel owner personally called me and told me the Old Town Inn would be a better time for us so we could experience the town of Crested Butte. She was friends with the owner of the Old Town Inn and we had such a great...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
If the mountains are whispering your name, give us a call. The Old Town Inn makes a great home base for your Crested Butte adventures, wild or civilized. The inn offers all the amenities of a traditional hotel, but feels more like a bed-and-breakfast or European inn, where guests are welcomed like family. Here you can launch your day’s adventure with a hearty Continental breakfast and end it with home-made cookies and treats and a luxuriant soak in our outdoor hot tub. Though we offer one of the best lodging values in Crested Butte, we take excellent care of our guests. Our 33 rooms are spacious and spotless, most with two queen-sized beds (or ask about our king rooms or suite if you prefer). Rooms feature cable television with HBO, phones with voice mail messaging, wireless Internet access and daily housekeeping service. We also provide guest laundry facilities and fax service. We are located at the entrance to Crested Butte, right next to the Town Park, Center for the Arts, movie theater, grocery store and restaurants. We’re just a short walk from historic downtown’s shops and eateries and from cross-country skiing, hiking and biking trails. Just a few steps away, you can catch the free shuttle bus to the ski area. We’d love to be a part of your next mountain getaway. ... more   less
