We arrived to big bus of skiers leaving after a fun weekend at the Inn, I got excited from there on, the location is so convenient to go to movie theater just across the parking lot, we got an espresso and a sandwich next to Inn also. The Nordic center is blocks away and all runs are around town with...

OK, this is not a 5 star hotel, and it doesn't pretend to be. It is a family owned economical motel in which the the pride of ownership shows through. We found the following: smaller but meticulously maintained rooms, excellent heating system even in the coldest weather, immediate hot water when you turn on the faucet and plenty of it,...

This place exceeded our expectations! Booked a three night stay over thanksgiving because of an incredible groupon. Pet friendly was a huge bonus and only cost us a little bit extra. It's right in the edge of town, walking distance to any of the shops and restaurants. In the summer you can borrow their bikes for free and in the...

We stayed at this motel as we toured throughout the state for about two weeks. The town of Crested Butte and the nearby ski resort mountain town are nested in a beautiful area of the state. We did not plan to hike, bike or ski the mountain so we stayed at an in-town motel. Motel is very small and basic....

We planned to spend a day in Crested Butte and then move on. Decided at the last minute to spend the night and the Old Town Inn was recommended to us by a local. This was a very pleasant surprise. It was off season so the price was great. Room very clean, comfortable beds and great channel selection on TV....

When our car conveniently broke down in the parking lot of the Old Town Inn, my husband and I had no idea how fortunate we were. Talk about the silver lining of an otherwise annoying situation. We were warmly welcomed to not worry about the odd parking place we'd chosen and instead invited to just relax, eat some cookies, and...

You will not believe the friendliness and hospitality of this Inn, especially compared with modern motels. At 3:30 pm you will get freshly baked cookies, and for breakfast it's a fantastic buffet of delicious items beautifully presented. Downtown is within walking distance--our 90 year old friend walked it. It has been over a month since we were there and I...

Very affordable and clean. Nice breakfast bar in the morning. Allows pets! We walked a few blocks into town for dinner. If it were cold you would want to drive. But everything in the town is within walking distance.

This was our second stay at The Old Town Inn. After hiking across the mountain pass from Aspen we stayed here for a day of R&R. The staff was as helpful and gracious this August as they were last year. Great included-breakfast and gave us much needed advice regarding the weather which would change plans for all hikers at the...

Reasonable price and reasonable value. The rooms were clean and well maintained. For a small fee our dogs were welcome. A full breakfast buffet, tasty and nourishing, was provided every morning. It only lacked variety. We stayed five nights and the breakfast was always the same. Staff was friendly and helpful. My ONLY complaint - the walls were thin with...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
If the mountains are whispering your name, give us a call. The Old Town Inn makes a great home base for your Crested Butte adventures, wild or civilized. The inn offers all the amenities of a traditional hotel, but feels more like a bed-and-breakfast or European inn, where guests are welcomed like family. Here you can launch your day’s adventure with a hearty Continental breakfast and end it with home-made cookies and treats and a luxuriant soak in our outdoor hot tub. Though we offer one of the best lodging values in Crested Butte, we take excellent care of our guests. Our 33 rooms are spacious and spotless, most with two queen-sized beds (or ask about our king rooms or suite if you prefer). Rooms feature cable television with HBO, phones with voice mail messaging, wireless Internet access and daily housekeeping service. We also provide guest laundry facilities and fax service. We are located at the entrance to Crested Butte, right next to the Town Park, Center for the Arts, movie theater, grocery store and restaurants. We’re just a short walk from historic downtown’s shops and eateries and from cross-country skiing, hiking and biking trails. Just a few steps away, you can catch the free shuttle bus to the ski area. We’d love to be a part of your next mountain getaway. ... more   less
