We stayed in an executive suite on the top floor and had awesome views of Mt. Crested Butte and the valley below. The hotel was very clean, well managed and welcoming upon our arrival (plus pet friendly!). The room was very nicely appointed with a kitchenette. Bathrooms were large and had nice tile and fixtures. The bed was very comfortable...

We stayed over Thanksgiving week. We had a great experience. The hotel staff was very friendly. We had Thanksgiving dinner @ the hotel restaurant. The food was great, but the service was terrible & it is hotel policy that they add 18% gratuity to your bill. We explained some of the things we experienced to the manager of the restaurant...

We stayed here at the end of September for a wedding. The price for the room was very reasonable. Just be aware that there is a daily resort fee tacked on to your bill and also a daily parking fee if you choose to park in their underground garage. We chose to park our car in the free parking lot...

We had always wanted to go to Crested Butte since reading a couple articles from the New York Times from a few years ago. We knew it was off-season but we found ourselves with a rare available weekend coming up and with the weather so amazing, we took advantage of it and drove the six hours. The guy at the...

We were so happy to host you, MimitheFirstDog. We've had many guests stay with us since those articles were published in the New York Times, so it is good to see that Crested Butte is getting the love it so greatly deserves. We appreciate you choosing to stay with us despite being in between seasons since you had a free...

Staff were all very friendly. The resort is dog friendly and everyone was super nice to my canine travelling companion. Great location for skiing and hiking trails- a bit of a walk or drive to the downtown area. Fun bar and great patio at the resort. I will definitely stay here again.

Thank you for the 5 stars, 561nancyr! We love having both human and canine guests stay with us - it's important to be able to include the furry friend in travels. I'm glad to know that our staff was friendly and that you really liked our convenient location to some of the best skiing, biking and hiking trails in Crested...

Pros:Our room was very spacious and had a fridge, microwave/convection oven and sink. They also provide glassware, silverware and dishes. That was really convenient so we could have snacks and breakfast. The view from our balcony was gorgeous!!! The hotel is kid friendly and very comfy throughout the lobby. Cons: We were there dusting off season so it was more...

Hello tmach41, Although Crested Butte is slower during the off season, it will always be one of my favorite times of the year. There are few things better than having the beautiful trails and mountains to yourself. I'm glad that you chose to stay with us during this time, and completely understand your concerns about the area reflecting a ghost...

OK so it's off-season but this was a little weird. There weren't many people staying here so it felt a little bereft and lonely. The staff seemed continuously surprised to see us there. This included the breakfast staff; one guy told us there weren't any spoons available and then said "good point" after being asked how we could eat the...

Hello TravellingPlatypus, First, let me applaud you for the awesome username! It put a smile on my face, that's for sure. Visiting Mt. Crested Butte in October is quite the breathtaking experience with the changing colors, but is also a lot quieter and laid back. Some guests love this unique experience, and other's thrive in a more busy atmosphere -...

Stayed just one night to enjoy the Colorado fall colors. The hotel has a large spa and indoor swimming pool and a large outdoor bar seating next to their pleasant restaurant. We had a beautiful large room with great views of the mountain colors. Room included a mini-kitchen, extra seating and a small balcony. The property wasn't busy on this...

Hello Mikey59, Crested Butte is known for it's skiing in the winter and wildflowers in the summer, but one of it's hidden gems is the changing leaves in the fall. Even though you stayed only one night, I'm glad to know you were able to take in the incredible views from your room and balcony. I appreciate your kind words...

I have stayed at this hotel at least once a year for the past few years. It is a beautiful hotel from the moment you arrive on the main floor where you check in at the front desk-the art, fireplace, chandaliers, it has a modern, cozy, mountain vibe and excellent location at the base of the ski mountain in Crested...

First, the hotel is very pet friendly. Worked out great for us since we have a very elderly dog. But, that being said we did have to change rooms after a neighbor left their dog in their room and it barked for 2+ hours until they returned at 10:15pm. We did switch rooms, but that was next to the elevator...
