As a single female traveler, it's always a little daunting when making reservations at inns. But this was the sweetest, warmest place I've stayed in Colorado. In walking distance to downtown Butte, which makes it great. The Owner/Chef provides a hearty and delicious breakfast in the morning and also an afternoon beer tasting. Both wonderful if you want to engage...

My wife and I just spent three nights at Purple Mountain. It was a wonderful experience which really exceeded our expectations. The breakfasts were marvelous and unique each morning. The quality of ingredients (most locally sourced) and care with which the meals were prepared was outstanding. Each evening there was a beer tasting with the guests which facilitated some great...

Our stay at the Purple Mountain Lodge was the best! I chose this B&B over any other place in Crested Butte because of the reviews on Trip Advisor and I was not disappointed. We had the Twin Buttes room and it was so homey, exactly as pictured on the website. Bed was very comfy, nice sheets. Room was quiet, roomy...

While we have stayed at several B&B's in Crested Butte we decided to try the Purple Mountain Lodge on a recent three-day visit. We really enjoyed the quiet relaxing atmosphere. Chris is a truly delightful host, entertaining us with fascinating local lore during his regular 5 pm beer sampling. His breakfasts are excellent too. Chris is very knowledgeable about the...

Just a charming B&B in a breathtaking setting. Chris, the owner, is a fabulous chef! Breakfast every day was scrumptious. Breathtaking view of the mountains, bikes available, short walk to town - 5 minutes. Quaint & lovely. Doesn't take much to imagine the town hasn't changed much in 100 years.

We spent 3 nights at the Purple Mountain Lodge. The whole experience was great - the B&B is near to town, but Chris (the owner) also has available coaster bikes to tool around town or head out on the more appropriate rec paths. He gave us really useful advice on structuring our visit, make sure to tailor it to our...

We spent 2 wonderful nights at the Purple Mountain and loved every minute. We were in the Red Lady room, which was cozy and perfect for us. Chris, the owner, was so friendly and easy-going, and he provided excellent hiking and dining recommendations. The Inn is at the perfect location to enjoy this breathtaking town!

We spent three lovely nights at Purple Mountain Lodge and it definitely wasn't long enough. First of all, the location is perfect. Crested Butte is just a lovely, little mountain town with tons of activities nearby as well as many great shops and restaurants. Purple Mt. is located on a quiet side street but is a short walk to Elk...
