Once again, the Cristina Guesthouse does not disappoint! Our second visit here and will not be our last! Colleen, Dimas, Hannah and the entire staff make sure you have everything you need for a terrific stay. As others have said, this is a laid back and smallish guesthouse which is great fun during breakfast and après ski time to catch up with other visitors. Bed's are comfy, toiletries provided and the afternoon cookies are always home made. A 2 minute walk to the ski shuttle and close to downtown for restaurants and fun bars...this is an excellent location in CB for all your ski needs. Enjoy!
This is not a place for noisy roudy people. But it's great for people who want a quiet place to stay that is within easy walking distance of down town. The rooms are small, but sufficient to open a suitcase and get in and out of bed. It is quiet because other people respect the need for peace and tranquility. There is breakfast in the morning, with all I needed. The Wi-Fi was very good -- 200 Mb/s symmetrical, although it had several dropouts. The room had a power outlet by the bed with USB (but my USB didn't work), and an ironing board. The room has dispensers for soaps etc, which is far preferable to little packets or single use containers. And there are free cookies in the late afternoon. The staff are friendly and there is plenty of parking. It's a five minute walk to the old town with all its restaurants.…
This is the third year in a row we have stayed at the Christiana on our annual pilgrimage from Aspen to Crested Butte and back. The hotel is always spotless, the check in prompt, the coffee machine in good working order and the breakfast delicious. The location can’t be beat. Love this place.
This is not a fancy place. It has all the comforts and is run by wonderful folks. I have stayed here many times. It has the perfect location that allows one to walk to shops, restaurants and bars. I highly recommend Cristiana Guesthaus.
We didn't know what to expect when we booked our stay. Very quaint and unique. The location is perfect to downtown and hiking. We had fun riding the free bikes they had available to explore. After hiking the hot tub soothed our aches and pains. The breakfast was great with fresh squeezed orange juice. Hot drinks and cookies available. There are no tv's in the rooms, but we liked that. The walls are thin, but they have sound machines in the room that help. Great stay! We will come again.
Cristiana Guesthaus is charming, quiet, and totally relaxing. We had a cozy little room with a queen bed, and loved that there was no television in the room. The sauna is spacious and fantastic. We loved the breakfast and the afternoon cookies. We will return and recommend.
We had a wonderful stay at Cristiana Guesthaus. We were there December 27th thru January 2nd. There was an unusual amount of snowfall, but it was beautiful. If you are there to snow ski you can hop on a free shuttle that will take you to the mountain, which is a three minute walk from the Guesthaus. The owners and staff are very friendly and accommodating. There is a nice fireplace with comfy couches down in the common area along with tables and chairs and a couch and tv upstairs in a common area. Our room was not huge, but it was fine and comfortable. Definitely would recommend.
Stayed for 8 nights and had a blast! Owners and staff could not be more kind, nice, helpful and truly cared about our comfort and stay - they consistently went out of their way to be friendly and helpful! Great large rooms (warm too), smallish bathroom but great ski locker. With two common rooms we had delightful conversations with other guests and with only 21 rooms - had a "family" type experience. Close to the bus to ski, close to restaurants and main street. Best place to stay in CB for sure! Will definitely be back! Thanks so much for a great battery charge too!!!
Can't say enough nice things about Christiana. The guesthaus has character, is extremely clean, welcoming, safe and close to everything in Crested Butte. We were able to walk out the door of the guesthouse, walk a matter of feet to the free bus service and be on the chair lift within 22 minutes! The continental breakfast was a great way to start the day and the pastries were wonderful. Last by not least, the owner Francisco and Paige were some of the nicest people you could meet. They were always there to greet us, ask how they could help and do everything they could to be helpful. Did I mention the guesthouse is also next to the downtown shopping and restaurants??? We look forward to our next stay! Thanks Francisco and Paige for making our stay fantastic!
The positives were staff is nice, walking distance to downtown and good water pressure. But the actual place is run down and shabby. Here we go: bed linens so old they were piling and uncomfortable, I think the bed was twin and not queen, the bed had this large screw that held it to wall, curtain coming off rod, no fans so it was stuffy and had to open window which was so heavy I had to call manager to open and close, no elevator and no TVs in room. There is wi-fi if you want to stream on your phone but was slow at times. Basic breakfast offered which is nice. It comes down to “would I stay there again?” The answer is no.
