We loved our stay, the staff were lovely, the room was really clean and the bed was comfortable. We hiked the local area and had a great day out at Green Lake. Breakfast set us on a good footing for the day! Thanks for a lovely stay, we would happily come back again
Stayed at this inn with a travel group. We have traveled extensively in the US and Europe, and this is probably one of the worst places we have stayed. This place is in serious need of maintenance. In our room, the toilet seat was ready to fall off and the dead bolt did not work. The carpet was dirty and spotted. Other members of our group complained about clogged sink and tub drains and the first night two rooms had their smoke detectors go off for no reason and one of the detectors was hanging by its wires. Continental breakfast is included and was a joke. Start time was 7:00 am, but when we went down nothing was set up, so the first 30 minutes was spent tripping over their employee bringing out different items with 15 other people trying to get what they could. The food was not up to par. No fruit the first morning and my partner got a piece of moldy cheese. We did not go down the last day of our stay as we did not want to deal with the hassles. In their defense, they are new owners and I hope they have a serious plan to improve this place, but it is off our list.…
Staying at The Nordic Inn for two nights was a wonderful experience that I would recommend to anyone traveling to Crested Butte. We were met with a huge smile and welcome and situated in our room in minutes, with all types of local information and recommendations. Our room was immaculate and comfortable, and the breakfasts were fresh and plentiful. The stay is walking distance to the ski lifts and to the restaurants, pubs and shops in Mount Crested Butte. We loved our visit and can’t wait to return! Highly recommended.
We spent a night at the Nordic Inn this past week. The room was clean and comfortable and the inn-keeper was super friendly and accommodating. We were leaving for an early morning hike at 5:30 am. He made sure breakfast was available for us before we left even though it’s usually served starting at 7 am. He got up, made coffee, and put out muffins and bagels. We were extremely grateful that he went the extra mile. The hike was incredible.
We came for the Crested Butte hike, and left feeling rested and refreshed. Thank you to the incredibly hospitable staff who helped us feel welcomed and like a local. The rooms were clean and cute, beds are comfortable, and the lobby area a great place to relax and be social. The Inn is in a great location, close to town and slopes. The hot tub and fire pit are a welcomed end to the day after adventuring. Highly recommended!
This was my second time staying at the Nordic Inn. The rooms were clean and quiet. The bed was comfy. Plenty of hot water after a long day of hiking. Marco was extremely helpful and had suggestions on where to hike and local dining options. Our only regret was the breakfast...it was lacking on many levels. There were no bagels, butter or fresh fruit. They had canned sugary fruit cocktail in small containers and yogurt in filled containers ( not individually prepackaged). It was disappointing and this was on a weekend during peak season. We drank our coffee and then headed to town to get breakfast. The last time I was here, the breakfast was plentiful.
I went with my wife and our furry friend last October 2021. Sydney and Adam, the people running the hotel, were very kind, welcoming and professional. The lobby of the hotel has a very cozy atmosphere! We had a problem with our room but Sydney was very understanding and customer oriented in fixing the situation. Overall our stay there was pleasant! Thanks again to Sydney and Adam!
This was my second winter stay at the Nordic inn. Love the wood burning fireplace with a glass of wine in the evenings .Snowboarding was fantastic with such a short walk down to the lifts. The room was clean and cosy and had a great view of the mountain .An early morning hike with snowshoes is a must.Staff are super friendly and I got a lot of good trail tips from the manager Adam .I’m hoping to be back in the summer for some serious hiking
I really enjoyed my first trip to Crested Butte and I’m happy we stayed at Nordic Inn. The rooms were clean and quiet. The central gathering area downstairs is full of ambiance. The location is perfect for hiking. Will be back in the winter to experience Mother Nature at her finest.
We are huge fans of the area and travel there a few times a year. No matter the time of year we visit, The Nordic Inn is the place we enjoy staying. The combination of comfortable rooms, convenient location and super helpful staff make for a reliably great stay. Value for money, it's hard to beat. Really looking forward to our next visit later this month. Staying for 2 weeks!
