This was an amazing "disconnect" for our family. We fell in love with Cottonwood Cove Guest Ranch. A wonderful cozy cabin secluded in the Rio Grande National Forest with the river at your back doorstep. There is hiking, fishing, horseback riding, and you can go 10 minutes into the town of Creede, which is so quaint or go 30 minutes...

As other reviewers have recently stated, the management are extremely unwilling to accept anything may be wrong with their cabins. When my family told them it smelled like gas was leaking from our stove they were visibly agitated and accused us of making the story up to get some sort of reimbursement. I posted the full story here but they...

We enjoyed our stay at Cottonwood Cove. The area is beautiful and peaceful. The cabins are cozy and rustic. The cabins aren't five star hotels, but they are a place that makes you feel like you are in the great outdoors which is what we enjoy to do. We will definitely stay here again if we come back to the...

This was a great place to stay with our dogs before and after a backpacking trip. We stayed in the off season, so it was quiet and the restaurant was closed. Rates are quite good for the area. The staff was accommodating and made sure we were able to check in after hours. The cabins we stayed in were comfortable...

We came for dinner. They could not decide if we needed to order off the lunch or dinner menu. They finally made the decision and gave us lunch menus but said the dinner special was ready too. What? But ok. Our food arrived and the catfish was greasy and tasted like old frying oil. We have been here many times...

They have a very large event tent on property. One night held a wedding party that was extremely loud all night. We don't rv to be exposed to this type of distraction. Will chose another park in area where there is reasonable peace and quite.

This is the second visit to cottonwood cove to horseback ride. The people that run the gift shop and set up the rides are great! Our wrangler did a very good job of matching horses to the skills of the people riding, but my one complaint is that on this go-round he didn't stop at the scenic point and take...

My fiancé and I recently stayed at Cottonwood Cove. We booked this trip months in advance and were mostly disappointed with our short vacation trip from Littleton to Creede. The scenery was beautiful, peaceful and quiet. The cabin was spacious and charming. The small town atmosphere of Creede and South Fork made up for the disappointing experience at Cottonwood Cove...

If you're traveling through this part of Colorado - make sure to stop for the breakfast buffet! $9/adults, $5/kids - all you can eat. Can't begin to describe the melt in your mouth pancakes! Everything was delicious and freshly cooked. Lunch was equally flavorful, filling and well priced. The gift shop is well stocked, prices are lower than the surrounding...

Convenient location between southfork and Creede for rv. Dirt space. Full hook ups. Inexpensive for area. No private area between rvs. no tables, etc. Extremely basic. We had no phone service or Internet in Campground. Ask carefully if you bring a rig 42 or longer. Yes - space for tow vehicle. Small rv park maybe 35 spaces. Sometimes an escort...
