This is a very nice RV park. there are slots for short termers and the staff was very friendly. There are also many nice (high end) slots for the resort residents who have extended stays there during the summer. Looks like they are going to add more places on the other side of the river. I would give 5 stars but it is pretty pricey for a RV park, even with nice amenities. $76 for full hook up but then all kinds of fees. BYS fee of $5; not sure what this is for. Site Lock Fee for $10. Hmmm. Not sure what that even means. Those plus almost $6 in taxes for a grand total of $96.62. I've paid that kind of price in Florida on the beach but wasn't really expecting it in Creede. Though, it is hard to pass up the views.
This resort/campground is extremely well made. Great location with all gravel sites and roads, but not too dusty. Their WiFi worked as long as we were near the center of the property. We had a cabin for our stay, but the sites were very inviting to us if we had brought along our popup camper. There are very few mature trees here, so bring your own shade. Staff was great, park was quiet at night, security patrols were regular. Camp store had very little inventory, but town is just a mike away so it’s understandable. There are some seasonal/owned spaces on the resort side that have been made into VERY swank spaces. These folks have dollars to spend! God Bless em!
You can tell from the divided review ratings that some folk have had a not nice time here. We had a relatively problem free two nite stay so my review tends to the higher side. I found the “management “ to be friendly and not at all hostile, but then I’ve found that you usually get what you give. This park is a divided park, ie- temporary to the left and park owners to the right, aka the resort side. The short termers get gravel sites, mostly level, with all the basics, but the resort side has much better landscaping and some concrete pads. For a few days or a week, the park side is fine. Laundry is huge and clean and reasonably priced. Stay off the nice grass with your dog and use the scrub grass at the edge, or go to the meager fenced spot in back (my dog passed on that). Only a quick drive to Creede so good location. Nice spot in beautiful country.…
So many rules especially hard if traveling with pets. They will follow you and watch you for violations. Strange place. We felt uncomfortable the entire time we were there really ruined our vacation. Pretty location if you can take it.
This is a very pretty RV Park. I found everyone to be extremely nice. The spots are so large. Amazing views of the mountains. We felt that it was over kill on the security with all the gates and codes to remember in my opinion. The dog park was a long ways from our spot which wasn’t very convenient if you have a dog. Luckily we made it there in time every time. The landscape is so beautiful though. The park is a couple miles from downtown Creed. There is an atv/car wash across the street from the park. We would stay here again.
