Great place to stay! Very nice owners. They are very pet friendly. Room is very nice and clean. Great services, awesome free wifi, cable, nice hot cup of coffee and muffin for breakfast. Has a place to wash clothes and dry them you can play pool while your waiting for them to get done, there is also a ice machine in there. The rooms have good ac and heat in them. The hot water and pressure in the shower is amazing. The beds are really comfortable. Best of all is the family that owns it, they are great people, very respectful
We were originally planning on heading right to steamboat but had an accident on the way and were towed into Craig. We ended up staying the night and were helpless without our car. The staff offered every accommodation to help us figure things out. Next time I'm up this way I'll be planning on staying in Craig. Relaxing atmosphere, huge rooms, and remarkable staff.
When I arrived first at the Travelers Inn I noticed right away that the front area was clean and inviting with a few kitties walking around outside with green grass and flowers lighting up the front office. Once inside all who we came in contact with that works there was extremely friendly and helpful, making sure that we had the best service. Every morning they have coffee, muffins, fruit and bagels ready to help get your morning started! You can always see the employees working around the property which is nice to see they care and take pride in their motel. The rooms were clean and set up nicely. They are cozy and inviting, a high recommendation for this motel!
Motel is 40 miles from Steamboat Springs Colorado. Room was clean, linen smelled fresh but very worn, towels clean, hot water for showers, bed comfortable, micro/frig and coffee maker with complementary coffee, wifi worked well, soap, shampoo, hairdryer in room. There is a large gap under door in Room 103 that needs to be fixed. Anything could crawl in. I put a pillow in front of the gap.
I really don't understand the good reviews for this place. We stayed there this past weekend, room 105, and it was not good. First off, the entire motel is run down and looks to be a place where a number of people are living permanently or on a long term basis. Both nights we were there, during the night, the person or persons in the room above us would get up every hour or two and tromp back and forth the entire length of the room several times. It was VERY LOUD. Apparently there is no soundproofing between the first and second floor. The stomping and creaking were terrible. We were woken up each time they did this. We didn't get a good night sleep either night. We had asked for an upstairs room upon arrival and were told that those rooms had not yet been "updated". …
