We stumbled onto Sonesta ES Suites when visiting Colorado Springs for a family funeral. The price was great and because of that, my expectations were fairly low. Upon check in, the front desk person was extraordinarily helpful and kind. She made sure I was signed up for the rewards program so I could get credits for my stay (I had already signed up, it is very easy to do via the website). Our room was great! Full sized fridge, more counter space than I would have imagined. The fireplace is wonderful, right by the big screen TV and comfortable couch. 4 very fluffy pillows and a comfortable bed. We didn't hear a peep from any of the surrounding rooms. Complimentary breakfast was good, I love the pancake maker! Highly recommend Sonesta ES Suites in Colorado Springs!
My husband and I were very pleased with our stay here! Our room was clean, spacious, well appointed with a mini kitchen and coffee pot. I loved our breakfast there! Delicious, fresh foods and lots of variety! Scrambled eggs with optional toppings of diced peppers, tomatoes, onions, salsa and cheese. Oatmeal with fresh blueberries and strawberries, vanilla yogurt and pecans to top it off. Super healthy and delicious. Plus bacon, hash browns, a variety of breads and good coffee! Our server and presume chef, Tericia, bent over backwards to bring me fresh eggs when the chaffing dish was getting low, and everyone friendly and helpful. First time at a Sonesta but will gladly return here when we visit our Colorado Springs family!
I was planning my family's first vacation trip out of Texas. I knew we wanted to go to Colorado but had no idea where exactly. I started looking for hotels all over Colorado and this seemed like the best choice for us. I booked the Two Bedroom King Loft Suite with Fireplace which had a king size bed on the top floor along with a restroom/shower. The bottom floor had the living room area with a couch, tv, kitchen and a bedroom with two beds and an additional restroom/shower. The price was very fair for 5 people staying 6 nights. This hotel offers free breakfast which was absolutely amazing! Each morning they had something different like eggs, bacon, pancakes, french toast, sausage patties, it was basically a breakfast buffet. They also had a social night on Tuesday and Wednesday night where they gave out food as well. On our stay they gave chili with the best ever cornbread (I normally dislike cornbread so much), the next night they served chicken sandwiches. For a family of 5 that was staying 6 days this saved us a lot of money. Everyone there was friendly, especially the person who first checked us in, I wish I had gotten her name. Everything was really clean and it was in a great location. Every morning as we walked out of our room we had an amazing view of the snowy mountains. The hotel is pretty close to many attractions around like the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, Royal Gorge Bridge/Train, 7 Falls, Helen Hunt Falls. There are many things to do around the city and neighboring cities. …
Older hotel that has been renovated so not perfect but clean and comfortable. We had the loft and the extra space was great. Pool, bags, basketball court and a nice patio to relax. Good breakfast and friendly staff.
Great family place to stay but housekeeping was lacking . Breakfast is standard for hotels but was ok. For the cost would stay again. Easy access to major roads and restaurants. Noise level was minimal. I wouldnt recommend upper level for those with knee or hip problems as stairs were a bit challenging at times.
