Our visit took place as the Coronavirus was impacting everybody. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. While our visit started with everything open, by day three everything closed. Luckily we had room service. On the rainy days out 7 year old enjoyed doing the scavenger hunt(which was actually more for adults) as it kept her busy exploring the vast number of buildings and art pieces. Price is not for the faint of heart but quality was in line with the price. With all restaurants closed we had to use room service. Luckily the quality was great. Definitely recommend a vacation here when the weather is good and there are no pandemics taking place. The hotel offered the best they could and it made the stay a good one.
I can't say enough good things about this hotel and the staff there. Rapidly changing coronavirus issues impacted the attendance of this conference but the hotel went above and beyond to make sure the remaining attendees could finish the conference in a safe environment. Both the hotel and CMCA leadership did a wonderful job keeping gatherings small and individually boxing meals. The resort and local area is absolutely beautiful. I hope to come back under better circumstances!
The Broadmoor is a fairytale, dream come true! The suites are absolutely gorgeous! The room service is the way to go! We did tru one of the restaurants and the food wasn’t very good! So we decided to have the food brought in! It was absolutely delicious! Room service is great, you don’t have to worry about getting dressed or doing your hair! It was so yummy! We had dinner and we had breakfast brought into our suite! Both times it was perfect! The staff is very accommodating too! We adore our times at the Broadmoor! We are planning on going again soon! Thank you so very much for making our stay a very memorable one!!
The Broadmoor never disappoints and our first time taking our tween/teens to our favorite resort exceeded expectations! The girls loved exploring the Broadmoor grounds, swimming at the indoor pool and ordering virgin pina coladas at the hotel bar while sitting by the outdoor fireplace enjoying the mountain views. Nights were spent enjoying all of the amazing cuisines at the many restaurants Broadmoor has onsite. The golden bee was a big hit with the nightly singalongs! Chess and checkers, roasting s’mores by the west fire and enjoying the hotel lights at night followed dinner. The biggest highlight of the trip had to be learning about Falconry with their own resident falconer. Truly an interactive experience you don’t want to miss! We are already planning our return trip!
One of the most enjoyable stays we’ve experienced. The Broadmoor has continued to showcase the grandeur of hotels from the past. The little touches were so special , such as the complimentary luggage tags, the daily schedule of events , the nightly gift of postcard art , and the chocolates. Our room/suite was in the south building, the view of the lake was breathtaking. We dined in the Penrose Room , a FIVE Star meal. The meeting rooms /large banquet halls were the most elegant we’ve attended. The spa was fabulous. The shops were filled with beautiful items and managed by real professionals. Looking forward to returning , hopefully sooner than later. Bravo Broadmoor !!
