My husband and I spent this past week at The Broadmoor. It was the perfect getaway from Denver. The service was impeccable. We felt very safe and taken care of. The indoor pool was wonderful and clean. Our favorite was Breakfast at The Ristorante Del Lago. Thank you, Broadmoor!

My mom’s engagement ring (and other jewelry) was taken from the room during our week long stay at the Broadmoor. We were staying in the cottages. All around, the Broadmoor boasts its an amazing place to stay, yet despite multiple requests, management did nothing to help us look for the ring and the ring/jewelry was never found. If you stay here, do not take anything of value.

Friday, May 7, 2021 - Second Post I regret having not heard from you following my public and private response one week ago. As noted previously, any such report of stolen or missing items, especially something as sentimental and valuable as an engagement ring and jewelry, would have been handled with the utmost attention. No matter the Department, a report of this nature would have ultimately been shared with our Hotel Assistant Manager, Director of Security and the Executive Office. We have not been able to locate any information indicating an occurrence such as this and, again, would appreciate the opportunity to speak with you personally in order to obtain the much needed details. As stated one week ago, once contact is made, my promise to oversee this investigation still stands. Until then, we remain available, but, unfortunately, also cannot assist or move forward without the aforementioned. Friday, April 30 - First Post We regret to read of such a serious incident detailed on TripAdvisor. As you can imagine, any report of theft or matters of lack of integrity are taken most seriously. With the limited information noted, there is no active report through our Assistant Managers, Security, Housekeeping Leadership or Executive Office. We trust that we will have the opportunity to speak with you, obtain more information and personally begin the investigation with the utmost urgency. A private message has been sent to initiate contact.

We booked a premier room for April. About a week before our trip we checked the weather and it was supposed to be cold with a chance of snow. The purpose of the trip was a golf trip for my husband and son. I called the hotel only 5 days before our arrival and asked about moving it to the next weekend. I expected the room to be more because we had booked a special rate. Reservations told me yes they would move it and would honor the rate I was paying. They took care of moving all our dinner, golf and spa reservations to the next weekend. When we got there we were told the room we reserved was not available the last night and so they moved us to a suite with a king bed and separate living area at the same rate. We loved everything about this hotel. The service was excellent. We ate at La Taverne, The Grille, Ristorante De Lago, Cafe Julie's and Golden Bee. All were very good. We also went bowling. We loved it so much I changed our plane tickets and we spent one more night. A few things were closed due to covid. A couple of restaurants and steam room and sauna in the spa were closed. They were also working on the bridge that goes to the west tower which would have been very annoying if we were in that tower since you would have to walk around the lake just for coffee or a snack, the spa, etc. At night we sat outside by the lake. We travel alot and have staying in some very nice hotels. This is one of favorite onces ever. Already planning a return.

My friend and I came here to celebrate my 60th Birthday and everything and I mean everything was perfect! My room was spectacular with a view of Cheyenne Lake. We had spa treatments and those were also superb. Dinner at La Taverne was excellent, especially the lemon meringue pie. All of the staff are so attentive and polite. They know the meaning of customer service here and it shows. So much beauty everywhere, including the art collection. Every detail is attended to and I think I might just celebrate every birthday here! A Colorado treasure!

My wife and I took our 3 young children to this property for a 'staycation' a few weeks ago. Having lived in Colorado for a decade, it felt odd that we had not stayed at this well-known hotel. After a single night stay, we now understand what we have been missing. This place is simply exceptional. The property itself is stunning and a true resort that is just as expansive as every square inch is meticulously maintained. We had an opportunity to interact with GM Ann Alba who went out of her way to make our trip memorable for everyone in our family. The rest of the staff are equally attentive and professional beyond what you would even find at a Ritz Carlton or Four Seasons. An example, at check-in, they asked "Check-out is at 12 noon, but would you be interested in a complimentary late checkout of 1 or 2?" We felt spoiled and we felt like we got special treatment. That is the sign of a great hotel. Pro-tip, for those with kids, the bowling alley, movie theater, dessert/treat shop, and pool are all excellent amenities that were a big hit with my crew. Thanks again to Ann and the team. We will be back soon.
