Our stay at this resort was very pleasant. The views are breathtaking. We were the lucky ones to have rather spirited wall neighbors on our first night. The resort was very accommodating sending a security guard over to settle things down. As predicted this did not resolve the issue. Which resulted in us moving to a new room. The resort went above and beyond allowing us to move into another available room very far from our neighbors. We still managed to hold onto our amazing view. While we did enjoy ourselves there are a few things the resort could work on. First being the dishes and garbage. We understand the restaurant is not open and they offer room service (for a rather large markup). Yet they need to send someone around to collect the dishes. (Guests are asked to leave their dishes outside of their doors). We noticed the dishes are left there for days before someone addresses them. Which results in any uneaten food being devoured and scattered by wildlife. This is also true regarding the trash receptacles. It would be nice if there were more receptacles around the property. If you are particular such as myself and prefer to not have housekeeping clean your room daily, it would be nice if there were more receptacles I could drop our room garbage in. The receptacles they have now fill quickly (because other guests had the same idea as I did and wanted to take out their own garbage). One morning there was a full receptacle with scattered food and garbage everywhere from wildlife the night before. While the rooms were clean... they could do a better job with the carpet. I would prefer hard floors over stained carpet. I do understand keeping carpets clean are not an easy process. Yet with the price you pay to stay here having large stains on the carpet are a turn off. Lastly (and this I feel applies to all resorts/hotels) it would be nice if they would pay closer attention to burnt out lights. Our first room had several burnt out lights including one in the bathroom which made showering a dark experience.

Highly recommend the massage therapist TJ at the Alluvia Spa! Best massage I have ever had!! I live about an hour away but will drive here often because it was that good. Everyone needs to experience this most relaxing massage ever.

Don't look any further for a quiet, peaceful, comfortable, clean and classy place to relax and get pampered! I am a Colorado Springs native and have tried to find one place that provides me all of my services under one roof and this is it! Mary provided an amazing massage! My only complaint is that I didn't book her for longer! Mindy provides amazing nail services and listened to some specific requests that I needed during my service. The front desk is always professional and happy! The world needs more happy people! They offer a monthly membership which provides one free service plus discounts on other services. This suits me best as I am not having to drive around for this or that service. Love this place!

We stayed at the Elk Lodge in a 2 queen room. We were hoping for a retreat experience for the price we paid, but we were met with demeaning staff, and unclean hotel room. I would say the redeeming factor was the view of the mountains.

we were delighted with the view of the mountain; too bad we had no access to the country club amenities in light of the fact we had none at the hotel! The highly touted buffet was closed as was the restaurant!
