All areas of the B&B were spotlessly clean. Innkeepers Dave & Kim were very welcoming yet graciously enforced social distancing & masking in all public areas. Bottles of hand sanitizers we’re readily available thru out the B&B. We stayed at The Old Town Guesthouse for 3 nights & enjoyed it’s convenient location to area attractions, fine restaurants & shopping. Dave prepared delicious gourmet breakfasts each morning which were served in an elegant but very comfortable dining room. We’ve stayed in many B&Bs & this one was one of our all time favorites!

I chose to stay here for my 10 year anniversary. Right from the start I felt welcome and accepted by Kim and Dave. I was shown to my room by Dave and he made sure I felt comfortable and knew where everything was. The view from our room, Oriental Poppy, was amazing. To the left we had the mountains and to the right we had Garden of the Gods. Granted, it was crazy cold, snowy, and foggy we still had a great view. Everything we wanted to do was in walking distance. The room was kept warm by the fireplace and my husband and I were able to cuddle up and watch movies together. Breakfast was fantastic on both days. The coffee was always hot and the fruit was always fresh. Kim made great conversation at breakfast and really made us feel like she wanted to know us. If we needed anything both Kim and Dave were available. The movie library was great for us because we ended up watching quite a few of them. The bed was so comfortable (no annoying box spring or coils in the back). Covid protocols are top notch. Sanitizers everywhere and guests are asked to sanitize before entering common areas. The patio was private and we didn't feel like anyone could peep in and see anything. I highly recommend staying here. We will definitely be back.

First, Old Town Guesthouse takes Covid-19 safety seriously. When you come in, you are expected to wear a mask and sanitize your hands. For breakfast, sanitizer is provided before entering the dining room and the tables and guests are seated 6'+ apart. Masks are required. I felt very safe...and I'm a germaphobe!

The property is very well situated. One block away is downtown Old Colorado City. There are lots of shops and restaurants within an 8 block radius. In the evening, the B&B provides dishes, silverware, and a place to put your dirty dishes. This makes it easy to take out some great food and take it back to the B&B to enjoy in the dining room, outside patio or your balcony. In addition, Garden of the Gods is only 2 miles away.

The rooms are comfortable and they have thought of everything. The balconies are private with great views of Pikes Peak and many have hot tubs! It was very relaxing to have a soak while taking in all that beauty!

The breakfasts are a real treat. This isn't your typical eggs, hash browns and toast breakfast. The breakfasts were upscale, nutritious and delicious.

Finally, the brother/sister team that own the B&B are attentive and friendly. They have an extensive knowledge of the history of the area that helps it come alive. You can also tell that they are serious about providing a great experience for their guests.

This will be the only place where we'll be staying anytime we are visiting Colorado Springs. We're definitely coming back!!

I stayed here for a night while remodeling my bathroom and totally losing my mind not having a functional shower at home. I called the Innkeeper, Dave, on a Friday afternoon asking about their dog policy and he was kind enough to let me bring my two small rescues for the price of one. I stayed in the Oriental Poppy suite which has a private balcony overlooking Pikes Peak and a private two-person hot tub. Dave and Kim were super welcoming to me and my crazy pups and had a bottle of champagne chilled in the fridge for me, showed me the amenities, how to work everything, and made me feel so welcome and relaxed. They even had two doggy biscuits for my pups and food and water bowls in the room for them! The location is perfect for those wanting to enjoy all the activities Old Colorado City has to offer while also being quiet and private. I was able to have my dinner delivered from a local restaurant, grabbed a DVD from the library downstairs, and just relaxed in my room. In the morning Kim delivered a fabulous breakfast to my room (taking into account my vegetarian diet) and with the leftover champagne from the night before I had a great breakfast mimosa and a view! I will absolutely stay here again and look forward to my next staycation!

There is a catch-phrase I'm not remembering about a Thousand Points of Light, or something like that, and you are touching all of them. We were so delighted to have you and the pups as guests and look forward to seeing you again. Spring weather is finally blessing the area, and we encourage everyone to visit the neighborhood!

As far as B&B's go, this is the best one I have ever stayed at. This place is meticulously kept and expertly decorated. The rooms are well themed, clean, and absolutely cozy. The beds are extremely comfortable...and yes, they are waterbeds!!!! Not your 1980s water bed, this one has baffles but contours to your body for an absolutely amazing sleep. All rooms have balconies and the ones on the 3rd floor have private hot tubs. The only teeny complaint I had was that the t.v. was quite small, and I actually needed my glasses to watch; however, it did not impact the There's an awesome butler's pantry on the second floor that offers coffee, hot chocolate, sodas and even toiletries and a first aid kit. You will want for nothing when you stay here. Breakfast every morning was absolutely delicious, and different every day. Well balanced with coffee, juice, fruit, veggies, protein, etc. Great variety and so yummy! The innkeepers are delightful and accommodating. They are extremely friendly and a wealth of knowledge about the area, and they offered great recommendations for dining and entertainment. Given the COVID situation, they are taking appropriate precautions to keep all guests safe. You can't beat the location, it's literally walking distance to every restaurant/shop you can think of and is just a hop skip and a jump to both Pike's Peak and The Garden of the Gods.

My girlfriend told me we were driving to the Springs for dinner but wanted to "show me something" before we went to eat. I was surprised to find that she had reserved us a luxurious room (Indian Paintbrush) at the Old Town Guesthouse B&B. Kim and Dave were very kind, hospitable, and professional from check-in to check-out. Both wore masks during all of our interactions and there was plenty of sanitizer everywhere. The room was beautiful and felt very clean and well-maintained. The hot tub was one of the cleanest and freshest we've experienced, and the bed was amazingly comfortable (It's actually been rough sleeping in our bed at home since then). It was great to have breakfast prepared for us Saturday morning! Dave clearly takes pride in the quality and variety of the meals he prepares for guests.

We look forward to visiting again when we can spend more time enjoying the amenities and the neighborhood.

Thanks, Kim and Dave!

My stay at Old Town Guest houses was a special highlight of my stay in Colorado Springs. This was the perfect location to the boutiques and eateries in the historic part of Colorado Springs. Safe accessible parking on premises. The Inn keepers screen new guests, were mindful of cleanliness, social distancing and mask wearing protocol amid this current pandemic. This gave me peace of mind.

There were a choice of comfy unique rooms. A lovely breakfast in the morning. Great conversation with Dave, Kim and the other guests over breakfast. I loved the eclectic details in decor throughout this inn. Dave and Kim made accommodations for me on the day of as my stay in Colorado Springs had unexpectedly been extended. I only wish I could’ve stayed longer. I look forward to staying again in the near future. I highly recommend them!

My wife and I were in the tail-end of our two week vacation and wanted to spend one more night in Colorado Springs before going home. After looking through a bunch of hotels/houses and B&Bs, we loved the look of this place and booked right away. The location is amazing due to it being a block from the Old Colorado shopping/eating area. Perfect area to walk around and our dog was welcome everywhere we went.

The room was exactly what we were looking for and exceeded our expectations! Everything you need is all in the room or a quick walk down to the "butler's bar". The bed was comfortable, the shower was a walk-in that worked perfectly, and the personal hot-tub on the patio made for an unforgettable view to end the evening. I'm sure the other rooms were just as amazing but we would choose this one again in a heartbeat.

We would recommend this place to anyone looking for some great relaxation with a perfect spot in the Springs for food and drink right outside your door.

This was one of the most beautiful places I have stayed in my life. The couple that own and live here are so attentive, kind, knowledgeable of the area and work really hard to make you feel like home. The breakfast served to us was absolutely amazing. Our room was very comfortable and had the most beautiful view I've ever seen. We felt very safe there, masks were worn, sanitizer available, social distancing expected. It was very very clean. We will absolutely stay there again.

We stayed here for 5 days and picked this hotel because it was a less than 10 minute walk to our son's home. We were a little concerned that they had waterbeds, as in the past I had found them unsatisfactory, but these were extremely comfortable. Even the pillows were fine - not too thick. It was quiet, despite Territory Days occurring over Memorial Day weekend. We slept 8 hours plus every night!
The shower was good and all the amenities were there. There is onsite parking, which was fortunate since our visit coincided withTerritory Days. We never had a chance to use the hot tub on the balcony, which has great views of the Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak. Breakfasts always included fresh fruit and were ample. Kim, the owner, was helpful, offering to refresh the room and suggesting places to eat or visit locally.
