The king size bed I paid for was really a queen. When I called the front desk she said that was their standard king size bed. We also found these interesting silver bugs in our room that we had to kill on our own.
My husband and I loved our stay at the mining exchange! From the staff at the front desk to the valet, everyone was so kind, courteous and followed all covid guidelines perfectly! We upgraded our room and it was amazing. We were comfortable, the bed was great and the room was clean. I felt at home here and it really made our stay there awesome!
What a nice hotel to stay at in the middle of downtown Colorado Springs, close to great restaurants, shopping and the night life. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable of what was going on and where we might like to go.
I will start with the negatives, No free Parking its at a different location and its hourly or daily at a parking Garage down the street. The pool ,Spa, and Bar are closed. The Hotel charges a resort type fee and they dont waive it.which they should since nothing is open as I said Spa, fitness etc restaurants and bars not open either. The room really needed more towels and a Fridge. On the plus side Staff was great and room was spotless. Over priced ,I was very disappointed.
Everything about our stay at this hotel was excellent. Our room was beautiful (and quiet), the bed (pillows and sheets) was extremely comfortable, the bathroom elegant (including his & hers showers). So many details ..... atmospheric lighting, great art work, plentiful outlets. Service was prompt and cordial, Covid notwithstanding. Finally, a great meal at the Springs Orleans. We’ll definitely be back.
