Had a very pleasant evening at Rad Hostel. Enjoyed a campfire in their courtyard, a great night's sleep, and pancakes for breakfast. Staff was very helpful and positive and other guests were friendly. Very reminiscent of European Hostels I've stayed in.

Such a great experience in the Hostel. Everything is clean and that feels you be comfortable, also the kitchen is well equipped to cook whatever you want. Staff are so friendly and they always do evening activities to have a lot of fun & location is top!

We stayed 1 night at the beginning of our vacation and reserved 2 nights at the end, having never stayed in a Hostel in the US thinking that we could cancel the last 2 nights if we didn't care for it. Well we did not cancel as we were throughly impressed. While the beds were not the most comfortable, and the electrical outlets in our first room were too loose and should be replaced, the atmosphere more than made up for it. They have created something really special here where everyone should feel welcome. The ample common areas provide spaces to meet other visitors from many different walks of life. Everyone we meet were friendly and respectful of others and the facilities. I have to credit the Hostel for creating an environment that encourages this! Additionally, the location was ideal for taking advantage of all of the activities available in the Colorado Springs area. The staff were all very attentive and helpful.

We originally rented a parking space since we have a sleeper van, but after a couple weeks of hiking and camping, switched to a room. We had two full size beds so we could spread out. The beds and pillows were comfy, the room was clean, and we had our own clean bathroom. Heaven! The common areas were also comfortable and the place is deceptively big - many places outside and inside to relax. The wifi was strong and reached everywhere. Breakfast was cereal, toast, and coffee. It was a perfect place for is 60+ year olds to recharge pur batteries.

This is the most hospitable place I have ever stayed at. It was clean and quiet when it should be. I stayed in private room 15 which is alice in wonderland themed and it was clean and spacious, holding a bunk bed and a full sized bed as well as coffee table and chairs. It was cozy but had plenty of space to relax. All of the people we met here were absolutely wonderful, whether they were guests or employees. The volunteers and employees create an atmosphere of whole welcome and acceptance. I can't say enough how much I recommend a stay here at ColoRADo Adventure Hostel.

The room was very clean and had everything we needed -- comfortable beds, air conditioner wall unit and fan, private bathroom, shampoo/conditioner/soap in shower dispenser, large desk and settee, small fridge with freezer, microwave. The staff were very friendly and showed us around the kitchen/eating area, plus the 24-hour lounge. Those two shared spaces and our room were accessed with key codes. The hostel is on a busy street and we were in the unit closest to it, but we hardly heard any street noise with our air conditioning unit and fan on. The only thing one of us didn't love was the firmness of the pillows, but that is personal preference. We left early so didn't utilize the included breakfast. We would definitely stay here again.

I had a great time at RAD hostel and highly recommend it! The hostel looks modest from the outside but trust me it has all the amenities you need from free breakfast to rental bikes, laundry room, a fully equipped kitchen, boardgames, TV with streaming services, and a huge backyard for relaxing and socializing with Pikes Peak as a backdrop! Inside the hostel feels cozy and just like home with a living room and dining area. The staff are very friendly and helpful, they strive to create a positive experience for all guests. The manager and owner are kind and available to answer any questions. The staff organizes different events sometimes with free food provided, it's a great place to meet people. Very peaceful and quiet at night, the rooms are clean and make for a comfortable place to rest after a long day. There's no smoking allowed inside and it's very family-friendly. There are 2 bus lines right outside that go downtown if you don't have a car, with stores and restaurants nearby plus a beautiful walking/bicycle trail along a creek. I can't say enough good things about this hostel, you must experience it for yourself, you won't regret it!

ColoRADo Hostel was one of my best experiences in a hostel so far. The rooms are comfy and very artistic (there is mural in the rooms) clean, organized, staff is 5 out of 5 super helpful & friendly. They have different activities to do on the weekends.
Breakfast area is from 8am to 10am (bread, butter, eggs, milk, jam, peanut butter). Saturday and Sunday morning they do delicious pancakes.
The location is the best, you have beautiful places to visit super close.
It’s a quiet place is you just want to rest, and also the perfect amount of activities to distract yourself :)

Since I was traveling on a budget, I had only a couple of choices…in any event, my conclusion is that this hostel is A+++…other than the fact I had the female dorm and bathroom all to myself, I could not have asked for anything better. Having misread the daily rate on the hostel website the day before (I put in 2 people by mistake, my bad, it was only me), the first night in CoSprings I stayed at a private home through, you know, that “e-bed and breakfast” website—big mistake. Not only did I pay more for the one night there than both nights would have been at ColoRADo Hostel, I missed out on a two-night stay at this little gem. On the south side of town (further south than where I wanted to be), adjacent to a busy thoroughfare, the hostel was simple, clean, and the youthful proprietors were very accommodating. The one night I was there, I slept well. The breakfast was delicious! There were many different things to eat, not just oatmeal or pancakes. I was happy to have a choice of breads and muffins, and jams/spreads for toast. The coffee was really good. Given I am more of a brunch person and not early breakfast, it was perfect. I may travel through that area again and I would definitely stay there again. The only thing I would recommend in the room is a chair or two so people are more comfortable putting their shoes on, etc. (Detail note: I am writing this May 2020, right in the coronavirus lockdown. I hope this business survives!)

Could not rate this hostel highly enough! You basically get a motel (except much nicer than your average motel) for way below motel prices, plus exceptionally friendly staff and plenty of cool communal areas to hang out. Communal kitchen, hang out space, outdoor sheltered patio, cool ass back yard with SWINGS… come on man you can’t beat that. All this with a beautiful view of pikes peak. Do not stay anywhere else! 11/10 fs
