Since I was traveling on a budget, I had only a couple of choices…in any event, my conclusion is that this hostel is A+++…other than the fact I had the female dorm and bathroom all to myself, I could not have asked for anything better. Having misread the daily rate on the hostel website the day before (I put in 2 people by mistake, my bad, it was only me), the first night in CoSprings I stayed at a private home through, you know, that “e-bed and breakfast” website—big mistake. Not only did I pay more for the one night there than both nights would have been at ColoRADo Hostel, I missed out on a two-night stay at this little gem. On the south side of town (further south than where I wanted to be), adjacent to a busy thoroughfare, the hostel was simple, clean, and the youthful proprietors were very accommodating. The one night I was there, I slept well. The breakfast was delicious! There were many different things to eat, not just oatmeal or pancakes. I was happy to have a choice of breads and muffins, and jams/spreads for toast. The coffee was really good. Given I am more of a brunch person and not early breakfast, it was perfect. I may travel through that area again and I would definitely stay there again. The only thing I would recommend in the room is a chair or two so people are more comfortable putting their shoes on, etc. (Detail note: I am writing this May 2020, right in the coronavirus lockdown. I hope this business survives!)

The staff were I incredibly helpful and chill and the people I met were awesome. Lived the daily evening bbq and we went in a mini hike which was awesome set up by the hotel. Fully recommend to anyone travelling to Colorado.

I stayed at this hostel for about 4 days. I enjoyed it, was quiet and the staff was awesome. Close to restaurants and all the major attractions via lyft or uber. I'd recommend this place and plan on going back soon.

My boyfriend and I wanted to go to Colorado for a week. He suggested a hostel and I had never been to one, so I was skeptical. I agreed because it was an unbeatable price. Kristen, Mo, and Paul were quite possibly the coolest, kindest, most inclusive, and fun staff. The free breakfast helped with our budget and the room was clean. The location was accessible and the staff made great suggestions on how to spend our time there. I’m so glad my first experience with a hostel was with this one!
