This place is incredible. Staff are the nicest, most helpful people I've met in awhile. The main lobby/lounge is so cool with a relaxed vibe, rooms were really cool and very clean. Zero complaints. Cant wait to come back.

Hi Rob, It was such a pleasure meeting you and your wife, and we greatly appreciate you staying with us at SCP Hotel Colorado Springs during your recent honeymoon! Thank you for taking the time to leave us a 5-star rating and review of your experience. I am happy to know that you enjoyed the vibe that we work so hard to create, and that you were able to take advantage of our public spaces and amenities. I am also glad to know that you found the property to be so clean and comfortable, and that you liked our rustic-industrial and minimalist design. Most importantly, though, I am thrilled that you found our team to be so friendly and hospitable; I look forward to sharing your comments with them and thanking them for a job well done! We look forward to having you stay with us again, the next time your travels bring you through the Pikes Peak region. Namaste, Gus Krimm General Manager

We had guests in town that wanted a night out of town. Due to snow in the mountains and wildfires, we landed on the Springs. I picked this hotel because I had read about it online, including in the New York Times, and thought it sounded like a great concept. We were disappointed. During check in, the staff member had her mask below her nose for about 75% of the interaction. They do give you tokens for free local beers which was a nice touch. We went to our room and it was filthy. I have never asked to move rooms ever, but this room was disgusting, from the toilet to the shower to the floor. I took photos and went back to the front desk. They seemed appropriately embarrassed and were apologetic, which I appreciated. They moved us to a new room, which was clean. They lowered our rate a little. In the morning, there was no breakfast offered. We had selected a rate that included breakfast. We certainly understand they can't offer buffet style breakfasts during COVID, but we were welcomed to spend $4 on a granola bar instead. Finally, they promote themselves as dog friendly, and have no fees for dogs to stay, which is awesome - so many places charge super high pet fees. However, there is no grass anywhere near the hotel, so if you have a pup that won't potty on concrete or rocks, there really isn't anywhere to go. Overall, we were super excited about a unique experience and it just didn't deliver.

SCP was one of the highlights of our trip! Gus and Evaldo provided incredible & personable hospitality. Our experience here was a breath of fresh air. There is a calming yoga studio and a clean open gym with everything you need. Our room was more than expected, stylishly updated, and had the most comfortable bed we’ve ever slept in at a hotel. We can’t to visit again!

This hotel is very impressive! The thinking in efficiency and environmental friendly approach is impressive and appealing to say the least. Also David the bartender was extremely knowledgeable and informative! He’s committed to the work they put into their mission. 10/10 would recommend! And if you are curious to learn more about this hotel David is the man!
