We had a fantastic time and it was a great place to visit with our son. However, if your kids are younger than 4 or 5 or don’t meet the height limits for the slides it can be a bit boring in the water park after an hour or two. Honestly had more fun in the arcade. We had a 40% off discount for a deal they were doing for military members and stayed two nights (only really getting one day to enjoy the resort) and even with the discount it was still around $500-$600 after everything! I feel like the prices are a bit steep but if it’s a once a year or once every few years I guess it can be manageable. Other than the price it was all in all a great time!

This week my hubby, myself and our 2 boys (ages 17 and 13) stayed for our very first time at GWL CO Spgs. WOW! We had such an awesome time!!! Our room was large and very nice!!! We had 2 Queen Beds plus a twin-size sleeper sofa. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left Everything was Awesome!! The waterpark is so much fun. My personal favorite area was the Wave Pool. You can check out towels which I did and wow....they were so nice and warm like they had been in a dryer. There are lockers near the wave pool and also bathrooms/showers. We checked out Build a Bear and had 2 Awesome ladies - Adrianna and Liz (Elizabeth) helping us!!! They were so friendly and helpful! I had mentioned that my hubby and I were celebrating our 20th Wedding Anniversary as I was looking for something for the stuffed Wolf that I bought. I really enjoyed talking with them. We decided to go out for dinner and grabbed some Ben & Jerry's when we got back. As we were walking back to our room Adrianna and a Manager walked up to us and said that as it was our Anniversary they would like to do something nice for us and took us to the Candy Store and let all 4 of us pick out whatever we wanted. It was like winning the Golden Ticket from Willy Wonka!! We were shocked in a good way. It truly is such an awesome place to go and we will definitely be back!!! Thank You Great Wolf Lodge Colorado Springs for such an amazing time!!!!! I definitely recommend this resort to anyone who loves waterparks!!!!!

The thing I like best about this place is the staff. The staff is really attentive and sincerely friendly! I thought I lost my purse and they dropped everything to help me look for it. They were great at answering questions and got things done quickly. My son and I had the best time.

Everything was clean from the room to water park to restrooms and there were hand sanitizer dispensers located through out the resort; we spent hours playing MagiQuest, which was our main reason for coming here, but the other activities including water park, arcade, mini golf, ropes course, and rock mining were fun too; our Daughter didn't want to go on the water slides, but we still had fun in the wave pool and water activity area; the gift shop had a lot of great items and not just cheap typical tourist items; the food was great at the Loose Moose breakfast buffet and pizza and salad at the Hungry as a Wolf and ice cream and shake at Ben and Jerry's; I loved that paper straws and wooden spoons were available at many areas

I did not have high expectations for this property since I had stayed at a Gaylord hotel and believed them to be similar. My family went for a conference, and none of us including my teenaged grandson had a interest in the waterpark or other kid activities. That said, the hotel was clean, comfortable and the staff and dining were outstanding. Air quality was good in the hotel area, since natural wood and stone building materials were used and the amount of smelly plastics seemed minimal. Along with mostly unscented linens, I was relieved to not experience any allergic reaction. The room was not large, but certainly met our needs. Noise was considerable in the entertainment areas, but it was peaceful in the hotel common areas, without the constant loud music found in some hotel resorts. I was thankful and enjoyed the seating by the fireplace and watching the changing weather through the large windows. The buffet breakfast was particularly outstanding, with quality ingredients, friendly and helpful staff, and truly attractive and tasty offerings. We especially enjoyed Jamie and Amber, and the young chefs making crepes. The Barnwood restaurant dinner experience was also pleasant although we usually went early before it was crowded. Front desk staff was helpful and courteous, and even those employees who seemed inexperienced were friendly and trying hard. During our four day stay we experienced flexibility and friendly communication from staff in all areas. From the excellent morning coffee in the Dunkin Donuts to the evening ice cream from Ben and Jerry's, our conference experience was a wonderful surprise. It would have been much more of a challenge if we had a child wanting to do all of the activities. It could get quite expensive very quickly.
