My first visit to The Home Ranch for the October yoga & riding retreat for women was a profound and life-changing experience. Tammy Pate and Janice Baxter are kind, encouraging instructors. My confidence in the saddle improved, and I left the retreat with renewed enthusiasm for my yoga and meditation practice. Selina and Michael have assembled a warm and welcoming staff who care for guests on the trail and in the lodge. The horses are impeccably trained, the rooms are comfortable, and the meals are plentiful and delicious. I am so psyched to come back next year!
This was the most wonderful vacation I’ve had in years. I was there for a special program, so we had a slightly different schedule than the norm. Hence my Not Sure comments below. Aside from that difference, I cannot say enough overall about the incredible staff, the wonderful rooms, the spectacular setting and, not least, the totally every-meal-amazing food! I highly recommend it and I would go back in a heartbeat!
Breath-taking views, wonderful cabin accommodations, delicious food and 5-star service. Every meal was wonderfully prepared to accommodate my preferences. All the staff were friendly, polite and made me feel at home. I stayed in Roo cabin- it was perfect. Loved the private hot tub on deck. Went riding on a horse selected for me - it was an excellent match. The wranglers were wonderful, helpful people. I had a memorable Fall experience and look forward to returning in the winter.
Everything was very good. We did alot of on ranch and off ranch activities. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the food was excellent for the adults and good for the kids. The guests were from all over the united states and some international guest also.
This was our second year with our 11 year old grand daughter at the Home Ranch, and it was every bit as outstanding as last year. Excellent service, great food, and a staff that really makes everyone very comfortable. The program for the kids is fantastic - riding twice a day, campfires, food they actually like, etc. The counsellors are superior. For the adults, there's riding , great fishing and hiking guides, great food, and nightly entertainment. There is literally something for everyone, and you can go at any pace you want. And coming from Atlanta into the CO climate is always sublime in July! We would go again tomorrow! Our family highly recommends The Home Ranch.
