My husband and I stayed at the Inn for 5 mights on a recent ski trip to SnowMass. It is a cozy and friendly place, with a perfect location to enjoy evenings at the many great restaurants and breweries in Carbondale. Kelly and Jon gave us several excellent insider tips that enhanced our stay, as well as tasty homemade breakfasts on Saturday & Sunday. My husband was thrilled to have Nespresso coffee available! The upstairs suite was comfortable and clean with a cute sitting room and a deck, which looks like a great pace to hang out in the summer. Hopefully we can come back and use that next time!
We stayed in the upstairs Queen suite and had a wonderful time. Kelley and Jon were perfect hosts and gave us all the info we needed to get in despite having a very late check-in time. In the mornings they cooked us full, delicious breakfast with coffee and juice – the whole works. The cherry on top was that Kelley spent a lot of time chatting with us and giving great advice on local events happening during our stay (a great concert nearby). I would stay here again and would recommend to a friend.
The Dandelion Inn is just of Carbondale's main street, and convenient to restaurants and the Bonfire, a great coffee shop. The breakfast is available all day - bagels, toast, granola, yogurt, fruit, tea, coffee, as well as snack bars. We stayed in the downstairs Queen, which has the tub/shower in the main room. It worked very well for us. The hosts are friendly and ready to give helpful advice. We left a sleep mask in our room, and the hosts emailed and then mailed it to us - above and beyond!
This place is absolutely the best place in Carbondale to stay for just a night or your entire vacation/trip! I stayed in the bunk room and it is very spacious with places to sleep for at least 4 people! The other suite and queen rooms are just as beautiful and clean (but are not set up in a bunk style) The owners are dedicated to making your stay feel as comfortable as possible and are very accommodating! The nicest part is the cleanliness and the design of the hotel, it just makes you feel at home. It is in a great location that’s close to the Rio Grande bike/walk trail that runs all the way through the valley from Glenwood to Aspen! Also just a few steps away from being downtown to enjoy the shops and restaurants!! Breakfast is ordered on a menu that is given to you when you check in and made to order every morning when you want. Coffee & tea station are available 24/7 for self serve which is very nice! Just can’t get much better! 100% recommend this hotel. I won’t be staying anywhere else in Carbondale besides the Dandelion Inn!!…
A caring, thoughtful, comfortable space. We stayed in the upstairs suite for 4 nights during the winter. Great space for an extended stay plus a large bay window to enjoy watching the snow come down! Location is amazing. Walk to anything in Historic Carbondale (incredible restaurants, local theater, juicing, studio artists everywhere and more!). Easy drive to SnowMass to ski, and a 42 mile walking, biking, hiking, (cross country skiing) right out the front door of the Dandelion Inn. The weekend breakfast was AMAZING both days! Fresh, unique and delicious! And Hostess Kelley was very helpful with local tips and resources!
