Let me start by saying I have camped in hundreds of places in my lifetime. This one is a jewel above them all! If you're going to Canon City, this is where you want to stay! The vintage campers are authentic, delightful, comfortable and clean. We stayed in the Tacy, a Lucy & Desi themed camper. We had four of... More

We stayed in Sally . It was perfect for my mom and I. The views were great . Friendly owners and staff . Trailer ( Sally ) , bathrooms and showers were very clean . They have a playground for kids , a swimming pool , and few other things to do . Close to plenty of activities for all... More

Very convenient location, close to the Royal Gorge. The tent sites are small, but manageable. I was able to fit 2 tents and a hammock, but had to park the vehicles in visitor parking. Picnic table and fire pit are at all the sites. They have free running water which is nice, and a little laundromat and store on site.... More

We spent 3 nights in the Bailey and just loved it! We weren't too sure what our 16 year old would think, but she thought the campground was pretty cool. The location is great (on the way to and views of the Royal Gorge, and Sylvia made sure we had everything we needed. The outdoor area was perfect with the... More

Our family of 4 had a great experience staying in one of the classic campers, Lucy. Everyone at Starlite were really nice and helpful. The camper was adorable and fully stocked to make our glamping experience so much more enjoyable. It was clean and safe. We loved everything about it. Looking forward to going back and staying in another vintage... More

I really enjoyed my visit to this quiet and clean campground. It is themed and looks exactly like the pictures on the internet...exactly! I think they put a lot of thought into the details to make the camping experience great. When I spoke to Sylvia (the owner) she told me they had everything I would need just bring myself, my... We visited the campground in June and stayed in the Tikibago. The location is great if you're going zip lining or white water rafting as you can literally walk to the different rafting places. The camper itself was nice, just as described on the website - and the bathrooms were very clean. The owner was very friendly and attentive. All... More

As avid Colorado campers we were intrigued by this place. We read their website and decided to check out the campground when we were in the area. Unfortunately they were having a rally and so we were only able to drive in as far as the office. As we turned around and were leaving the campground we slowed down to... More

Thank you for your comments, Cheryl. Our guests appreciate the security and privacy that we offer here. There are a multitude of signs stating what is, and is not appropriate here, and it appears that you believe they do not apply to you. The "toy sitting on a playground" is in front of one of our vintage trailer rentals and... More

Caught our eye as we were driving by and stopped at the end of the driveway to snap a few photos. Within 30 seconds a woman on a Segway came out and told us to move on. Hey lady.... People with classic trailers and cars LIKE to have people admire their vehicles. Not a great representation of Canon City's tourist... More

This was a great place to hang out and camp. Had amazing views of the mountains had a dog play area and a giant grass land were kids could run around and be kids. We roster marshmallows. Made great friends and restaurants. Also was listed at an average price but still fun. Hope to come again!!!😎😜😘
