We visited for 2 nights in September and stayed in the suite with 3 queen beds. The inn is nothing fancy but it was very affordable, quiet and close to the train depot. The beds are decent and the sheets soft. It's an old place with no breakfast or bells and whistles, just a place to crash. Oh and lots... More

I recently had to be in Canon City for a family emergency and stayed 5 nights at this motel. I manage a former 1930's motel in Palm Springs, CA that has been renovated into a small boutique hotel... So my expectations for cleanliness and customer service are pretty high. The furnishings were older but the accommodations were spotless and the... More

Brass tacks. The location is really good. Easy access and convenient to the attractions nearby. As mentioned it's a budget motel. It's dated but clean. The bathroom was very clean as was the room overall. However, I had stayed there previously and my mattress was average and this time it really lacked comfort. I also had an idiot next to... More

We booked 2 nights through Booking.com because we were taking the Royal George Train, The motel is older, but updated; clean, everything works, all the amenities were provided. The owners and staff are friendly, helpful and on the ball! I wish I could find more small privately owned motels like this the Travel Inn.

Room with single bed. AC runs strong. No weird smells. I dont like the hangers in the closet Very clean bathroom and room in general. Fridge works great and was on when i arrived. And was clean. No reason not to stay here. The staff was pleasant as well.

Staff was nice, room was clean, plenty of parking, good location for people going to royal gorge railroad. I would stay there again for sure. I had no problem booking, the price was very good, and they have breakfest in the morning.

Friendly motel set back from the road. Has everything you need and the wifi was good. Old and tired, but nevertheless good value. A nice touch is the outside area for BBQ. It is about a mile out of town.

This is a budget hotel and it was a more than fair price for our needs. Location was just off the highway and on our route through town. Parking at your door. Quick driving distance to a variety of restaurants and gas stations. There was plenty of outdoor furniture, it you wanted to gather outside in the evening. I would... More

Reviews were exactly right. Our room was very clean and bed was comfy. Pillows were great!! Clean fridge and microwave! Definitely needed the air conditioner, 99 degrees outside!! We were very pleased with our two night stay. Great price also.

This piece of Americana is a great place to stay if you're looking for a quite, clean, park at your door motel. Located on the east edge of town, it takes you away from the noise of the city center. The owner is very friendly and helpful. A nice variety of pastries were offered every morning. Big shade trees &a... More
