We stayed here for 2 nights on the way to our final destination. It was a very pleasant RV park. Nice level sites, friendly people and great views. We could see the Royal Gorge from our location. Not much shade available. Nice enclosed pet areas. We would definitely stay here again.

I needed a place to stay for two nights while in the area to raft, do ziplines, ride the train, and do a jeep tour with my six year old. I looked into hotels but thought prices seemed slightly high - not terrible but not great - so I looked for alternatives and came up with the cabin idea. The... More

We spent two nights at the Royal View Campground. Our site was unusually large and seemed larger than the higher priced view lots. Everything about this camp was well done from the amenities like miniature golf, hiking trails, and the pool. The view of the Royal Gorge Bridge from the hillside trail was an added bonus, especially when viewed in... More

The park was easy access, excellent park and very clean. Todd very nicely made room for us when we decided to extend our trip 3 nights more. It's away from town and quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful with suggestion and information on locations to visit. We will stay here again!

The campground was clean and nice and the views were beautiful; however, the guy that runs it is incredibly rude and disrespectful. He lacks social skills and is a control freak. I would not recommend staying here and having to deal with his attitude. He came to the pool and asked us if we could read because one of our... More

We stayed at RoyalView 5 nights. We liked that it was clean and quiet. The pool was cold, but still nice. I needed some small repairs on my RV and Todd was very helpful. Thanks again Todd. They do advertise WIFI. We tried 2 different laptops and could not find the connection. Even when sitting in the office. Our phones... More

We booked this campground because it said it was an Rv park with all the luxuries and was a top rated Good Sam Park. I wouldn't call it luxury but seems to be one of the nicer in the Royal Gorge area. Several customers were mentioning that they were disappointed and I guess we were too in a way. The... More

My husband and I spent the last week of July here and our daughter and son in law with their 3 little girls joined us in our camper for the first week of August. Our son also stayed the first week of August at Campsite, which they put very near us. Our grandchildren enjoyed the playground, miniature golf, and the... More

We were so fortunate to be placed in a spot that when we looked out the window of our RV we could see the Royal Gorge Bridge. This is a very well maintained park. We found Todd to be cordial and appreciate his dedication to his business.

The campgrounds are very clean and perfectly maintained but the campgrounds lacks in customer service. We are not picky campers but you definitely dont feel welcome from the time you arrive. Even though the grounds are perfect its not welcoming especially if you have children. Id give up the perfectly maintained grounds for a relaxed family atmosphere any day.
