What an amazing place after 10 km of a bumpy dirt road Needs a few signs 😳just to find it Once you get there you get greeted with drinks and the hotel rooms are amazing. Breakfast and dinner and drinks are excellent! They have a spa and all the activities that you would ever want to do! The hotel has... More

********this is important******** I could write a review about how amazing the room was, or the grounds, or the staff, or even the food but after countless paragraphs of compliments to ever single aspect of our stay you would probably stop reading after the first paragraph. So, for both of our sakes... Stay here! It is the most gorgeous, private,... More

Dear Jarred H, Thank you for sharing your review with us and with the TripAdvisor community. We appreciate your blunt honesty and we agree with you. Our remote location which sometimes provides challenges is also what makes our property so unique and beautiful. We also agree that the roads need some work, and we are happy to report this work... A wonderful place to stay! Excellent rooms, great location, surrounded by nature, the staff was most helpful and graceful. Do not miss the hike to Teñidero in the Tenorio National Park and do jump in the Rio Celeste trail on the Hideaway property. Rooms were quite the treat. We are coming back!

Dear Marco C, We are very pleased to hear that our property exceeded your expectations! The hike to the Tenorio National Park is a very unique experience, and you are right, some people stop at the waterfall and don’t make it up to the “Teñidero”, where two rivers carrying different minerals meet and the waters are “dyed” a crystalline blue... This was our last stop after having been to Tamarindo and La Fortuna. It was amazing. The road is a little rough but that makes it an adventure. The staff and grounds are beautiful and well kept. The room, however, was our favorite. It was extremely large for just the two of us and the balcony literally is in the... More

The rooms, peaceful and remote location, and genuinely friendly and accommodating staff make this worth the trek. And the road will be done soon! Come here, stay here- take it all in. While we were there everyone became like family. A four night stay turned into nine because my daughter with a unique medical condition got a classic toddler throat... More

Just under two hours from Arenal. We made the effort to see Rio Celeste waterfall and booked one night at the Hideaway Hotel. The last 12 km of the road up to the hotel were rough but worth every bit of the way. Although we are traveling as a family we would include this as one of the most romantic... More

My children and I stayed at this amazing hotel during the 'green season' for a mid week get away! It is about 1km from the rio Celeste waterfall in the Tenorio national park.
