We spent 3 nights in peaceful serenity, in the midst of beautiful flowers and birds with wonderful accommodations. The room was very nice, well decorated with beautiful wood floors. We enjoyed sitting on the porch in the early mornings sipping coffee and listening to the Howler Monkeys above us in the trees. The restaurant was very spacious, opened up to...

We stayed just one night in December. Sadly it rained the entire time so we didn't get to enjoy the hotel as much as we could've given how beautiful it was. We did do the hike to Rio Celeste but due to the rain is was more grey than blue but nothing anyone could have done about that. I echo...

We spent three lovely nights at Rio Celeste Hideaway and it exceeded all expectations. Our room was gorgeous. Huge, very clean, very comfortable bed, Big deck with lounge chairs, massive bathroom with indoor and outdoor showers, lots and lots of closet room and space for suitcases. The staff at the hotel were extremely gracious - all of them. We had...

This is the kind of place I was looking for when I thought of Costa Rica: In the middle of nature, but very well cared-for. We arrived in our own rental car, but we were glad we'd rented a sturdy vehicle as the roads are rough! I understand that they offer shuttles from the airport, but this was part of...

We visited the Rio Celeste Hideaway Hotel on our third trip to Costa Rica. It was posh, relative to most of the places we have stayed. Each guest room is a separate building with huge bedrooms with a sitting area. The four-poster king bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was gigantic and had a jetted tub. There was ample space...

We stayed here for four nights and very much appreciated the amiable staff, lounging facilities, food and beverages at the restaurant which were mostly decently priced (we had and loved the local main dish all nights) and the rooms were spacious and very clean. We also quite enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi area (again excellent service). Though located in the...

This is a gem of a location. The cottages are beautiful, the access to the trails is amazing, staff very friendly and the food in the restaurant really good. We took a chance and I will be back. The access to the resort is difficult but once you get in you will love it.

Rio Celeste hideaway hotel is an amazing hotel for people of every type, from couples to families. Unfortunately, we were only able to stay one night because due to our airline messing up, we missed a night. The hotel was very forgiving and reassuring to us that we would get our night refund. We arrived at six at night, four...
