Just under two hours from Arenal. We made the effort to see Rio Celeste waterfall and booked one night at the Hideaway Hotel. The last 12 km of the road up to the hotel were rough but worth every bit of the way. Although we are traveling as a family we would include this as one of the most romantic... More

My children and I stayed at this amazing hotel during the 'green season' for a mid week get away! It is about 1km from the rio Celeste waterfall in the Tenorio national park. It is true that the road to the hotel is a bit rough, but we did see many regular cars making their way up -- our 4x4... More

This hotel is off the beaten path, but well worth the trip. The hotel grounds are beautiful and full of flower gardens. As soon as you walk into the hotel lobby, you see a huge Koi pond with a waterfall. The rooms are large and comes with an outdoor shower which was awesome. We had a monkey visit our balcony... More

We stayed here for 2 nights last week. I was very excited to arrive because of the excellent reviews. The last few miles of the road are rough, but not prohibitive. Just go slow and you will be fine. The hotel itself is lovely, just like the pictures. The grounds are beautiful and the path to the river is gorgeous.... More

The hotel and staff are amazing. The rooms are super big and confortable, it has everything that you will need and a very nice swimming pool. Also it has a small trail that will take you to the river and it is very well maintained. The national park is just minutes away.

What a breathtaking place. This hotel will take your breath away. The staff are amazing and friendly, the grounds are perfectly manicured, and the suites are clean and beautiful. By far one of the nicest places I've every stayed. And this doesn't even begin to capture the beauty of Rio Celeste and the waterfall...

We stayed here for two nights and really enjoyed our experience. The rooms are huge with an amazing outdoor shower. The pool area is beautiful. I recommend walking down the path to the river - it is really lovely down there. We did the hike to the waterfall and were lucky that the rain stayed away so that the river... More

After an interesting drive, we arrived! We were staying in Guanacaste at an all-inclusive resort and decided to stay here one night for its location. I stumbled upon the hotel on Google and it was the best decision of our trip! As others have mentioned, the roads getting to the hotel are certainly not something we were used to, but... More

Where do I start?... The road that leads to this hotel is a complete disaster! to say the least, but I will admit that it lends itself to the Costa Rican nature experience. My strongest suggestion to anyone visiting any part of Costa Rica is "rent a 4x4 vehicle" and if you pick a SUV make sure it has a... More

Well if you made it here safely then kudos. The road coming in makes you question the area, but we can tell you it's worth the hassle! The room was clean and the bathroom was really beautiful and big. We had a giant tub in our room and an outdoor shower which was amazing. One of our favourite things about... More
