All of the hotel staff were very attentive and friendly. Romantically tucked away in the rainforest, including a private walkway to Rio Celeste, and free amazing breakfast made this one of our top picks to return to.

I was very happy with our stay at Rio Celeste Hideaway. The service was great, the staff was friendly and very helpful. I would definetly recommend this great and beautiful hotel. We had the oppurtunity to reserve a hotel personnel to pick us up at the airport who was very friendly and out going (Eddy). He took us to the... More

Getting there: We took the challenging path, through 7 miles or so of rough roads. It's doable with an SUV and I've seen a couple of normal cars attempt. What's challenging is not so much the steepness of the road but rather there are a lot of large rocks sticking out. I wouldn't attempt this road in a normal car,... More

We stayed at the hotel for one night so we could hike up to Rio Celeste. I would recommend staying here at least 2+ days and taking the guided hike to Rio Celeste. The staff here is very very friendly and welcoming... we absolutely loved Gustavo. The rooms were very clean, the jungle shower was cool and the food was... More

Dear Montana H, It is wonderful to hear from you! We do agree that a stay at Rio Celeste should ideally be more than two nights. This because there is so much to do inside our property and in the surrounding area visitors could have a different activity planned every day of the week, including rafting, hiking, white-water rafting, birdwatching,... this is a very small hotel that affords world class service. The entire staff is very welcoming and they take pride in their service. The hotel grounds itself are very nice, draped with lush plant vegetation. The rooms themselves are spacious and have all amenities like safe, laundry service, a balcony, and an outdoor shower. The beds are not very... More

We didn't get to the hotel until 9:00pm. The staff was very friendly and courteous and will go out of their way to accommodate your needs. The rooms are individual bungalows. The room is huge as well as the bathroom which has a outdoor shower as well as indoor with jacuzzi tub. Large balcony looking into the Forrest . Didn't... More

A wonderful place to stay! Excellent rooms, great location, surrounded by nature, the staff was most helpful and graceful. Do not miss the hike to Teñidero in the Tenorio National Park and do jump in the Rio Celeste trail on the Hideaway property. Rooms were quite the treat. We are coming back!

Dear Marco C, We are very pleased to hear that our property exceeded your expectations!
