Stayed for 2 nights, Wed and Thurs. The room was clean, king sized bed was very comfortable, extra pillows with different levels of firmness was a nice touch. Always appreciate plug-ins at the bedside lamps for charging. My wife appreciated the humidifier supplied as well as the

Accommodations were perfect, staff was friendly, and stay was amazing. The view is 2nd to none. We rented a house for a week but started with a 1 night early hotel stay and will definitely come back again!

This lodge is really a huge log cabin. It is very pretty. Rooms have great views! The continental breakfast has lots of options, including hot foods and fresh fruit. We didn't eat at the restaurant for lunch or dinner. Happy hour prices are a nice deal. The rooms are clean and

Room was very noisy, thin walls. Very dated, needs updating. Online pictures were misleading. We stayed additional nights at the Charter in Beaver Creek and The Westin in Avon which were a lot cheaper and MUCH nicer! Would not stay here again.

Are the guest rooms renovated? What type of breakfast is offered?
I believe the rooms have been updated about a year ago. We were lucky to have a room overlooking the mountains with a fireplace. It was spectacular. The breakfast is a buffet with all the regular breakfast foods. You could make waffles and toast and they had eggs, bacon, sausage, cereals, juices, everything you want. I hope you enjoy your visit.

Are any of the accommodations dog friendly?
We brought our two small dogs with us for our stay at the Lodge. The staff welcomed them and us warmly. They even wrote our dogs’ names on a board by the front desk and listed them as special guests!

Breckenridge ski mountain has some nice beginner terrain, as does Copper Mountain. I grew up taking ski lessons at Copper, so that was beneficial. I'm sure Breckenridge has good lessons, too. Been a while since I've rented gear - it'll be a bit more expensive at the ski mountain base as opposed to somewhere in town, but more convenient at the base. Hope this helps. Have fun!

Any good close-by restaurant options?
The Lodge is located up the mountain a little ways and a breakfast buffet is included at the restaurant at the Lodge. Dinner is available there too but we did not dine there. However, like other reviewers said there is a shuttle that is on call and very convenient. There are shuttle stops all around downtown Breck with a good variety of places to eat. As far as recommendations for food, we enjoyed Empire Burger (even the salads are delicious there) and Giampetro's. Yum!
