Nestled in the heart of Breckenridge, The Lodge at Breckenridge captivates guests with its pristine cleanliness and majestic mountain vistas. While the hotel's serene location and pet-friendly policy are highlights for many, some guests feel that the value proposition falls short, pointing to overpriced rooms and underwhelming decor. Despite this, the accommodating staff and efficient shuttle service receive commendations. However, visitors should temper expectations regarding continental breakfast offerings and in-room amenities.

The moment I walked into the room (2nd floor facing the ski resort with a balcony, I could believe what I was looking at. It will take time to adjust and realize the view is like a canvas and so unreal. The service was knowledgeable and kind. Offerings are very limited due to Covid and “Code Red” for most businesses (outdoor or carry out only). I can’t think of anything negative to say and strongly will consider this again when I return in the near future.

Taking the summit bud transportation is very convenient and won’t cost anything. (Rent a car only if you prefer control of driving into a different down or location but not necessary) I really can’t wait to return and continue the dream which became a reality.

The location and structure of the hotel are wonderful. Rooms are fairly large and quiet, but considering the price, the furnishings and lobby should be updated. The breakfast was similar to a low-level chain (scrambled eggs, and plastic cutlery for 5 of the 6 days we were there). We found the staff highly variable, even at reception most didn't even say hello and some were unable to answer any questions. Housekeeping was poor. We had a leak in our bathroom ceiling, which was not repaired. A bucket was placed on the floor but housekeeping removed it, not having been informed of the situation. (The hotel was quite full because of weddings – we were not offered a new room, but the manager eventually offered to adjust the "resort fee".) Shuttle to town and ski hills was fine in the mornings but unreliable in the afternoons.

The Lodge was very accommodating! The rooms were clean and cozy along with having an amazing view of the sunset every evening! We ate in the restaurant and had some of the best food ever! I highly recommend trying the Seafood Pasta. The rooms had fans and a humidifier available in the closet which was super helpful. If I ever visit Breckenridge again I will be staying here!

This is a wonderful hotel at 10,000 feet. Our room had a great view. The lodge is located away from the town, which we knew when booking it and one of the reasons we choose the lodge was it had just opened its restaurant so didn’t have to go off property to eat. Their website had their menu which consisted of 5 entrees along with 6 appetizers which we thought would be perfect for us. Image our surprise when we checked in we were advised that there were only 3 items available: Fries, wings and a charcuterie board of meats, cheeses, veggies and crackers. Far cry from the burger, buffalo chicken sandwich, Atlantic salmon and steak and frites on their menu, which was still active on their website after we checked in. Was the menu an error on their part or deception?

Also, we had advised the hotel that we would be traveling with our dog, a yellow lab. Note that this hotel is very pet friendly. When we went into our room there was a bone shaped mat, a dog biscuit in a sealed wrapper and a portable (very small) dog bowl on the table. We thought, wow, what a nice gesture! That is until we read the note that was with it, telling us that the “logo dog bowl” was $10; the “logo placemat” was $4 and the “logo biscuit” was $1.50. We didn’t use any of it was we felt this was a ripoff, especially after finding out the menu and food availability didn’t exist as advertised.

So, buyer beware. Great place to stay, very dog friendly but the lack of their advertised menu, which we had planned on, left us with a negative impression overall,

We are deeply sorry to have left you with a negative impression. Your feedback is very helpful for us and we do feel there are some things we can update to make a more inviting experience. Our Restaurant did close last minute as we are in the process of rebuilding it from the past COVID closures. Our apologies that we did not have more information updated for that last minute change.

Perhaps its a different experience not during the pandemic, but I was looking for a quick relaxing solo getaway and found anything but. The views and location are very stunning, but the woman working the front desk is slowww as molasses (there was a line of 3 people when I showed up for 4pm check in which should have been a tip off), they are still trying to charge a resort fee even though the amenities were all closed (when I asked what services I was being charged for the woman at reception said..breakfast?). Hopefully the resort fee isn't being used for breakfast because its one of the worst I've seen during covid (even the holiday inn has a better selection), they give you a bag with an apple, a chewy bar and a tiny yogurt. I felt like I was getting a snack at a kids camp instead of a nice hotel. My TV also didn't work but when I called down to reception she said maintenance had gone home and there was nothing she could do (at 7pm). I'm usually a pretty easy going hotel guest but they just missed the mark completely, it was a disappointing waste of money

I would like to start off by apologizing for your recent experience at our property. We pride ourselves in delivering an exceptional service, and in this instance we failed to meet not only your expectations of quality of service, but ours as well. We will use this feedback to help keep improving our amenities within the new guidelines that COVID has created. I will also be working with our team to ensure that every guest has a wonderful experience. We hope you would consider giving us another opportunity to show that we can create an experience that is worth the return.

Stayed at the Lodge at Breckenridge Oct. 19-22, 2020. Unfortunately, our stay was far less than we expected. We knew that Covid-19 might alter things somewhat. But, it was far less than what was advertised on their website. First, the breakfast was a grab and go option, which would have been fine. However, a basic motel does a better job offering breakfast options. There were cold croissants (not bagels) with cream cheese and no apparatus to toast them (our room had a microwave). Upon arrival, we were told that there were no housekeeping services for stays less than five days. Again, we understood, however, we had to beg for extra towels and k-cups for the coffee maker. Fresh towels were not replenished unless you specifically requested them. Regarding the accommodations, we booked a mountain view room, which looked very nice on the website. We arrived to a tired room with little decoration or amenities. Though the view was nice, the room looked nothing like the photos on the website! Overall, the property is old and looks like it has seen better days. The prices were not inexpensive considering it was the "off season." We would not stay again. There are many other nice properties in Breckenridge to choose from.

We thank you for the feedback in regards to your stay and offer sincere apologies for your experience at our lodge. At this time amongst covid we unfortunately have to follow our current regulations with not having our housekeeping service running for stays of five nights or less but are sorry that our front desk staff did not set high standards of customer service we strive to give all our guests for accommodating requests such as more towels and providing more Keurig cups. We will absolutely make note of your feedback and be relaying this back to our team as well.

The location of the Lodge is pretty awesome, cant beat the views of the surrounding mountains. But.... we will not be considering this as an option of lodging in Breckenridge the next time we plan on staying. The room I booked and paid extra for was to have a king size bed with a mountain view and we were given a room with one queen bed with mountain view. It was 80+ degrees in the room when we arrived and to be fair it did cool down in the room when we propped open the front door and turned on the fan that was provided to draw in some of the cool air from the parking lot. At check in we were not informed that the hot tub was by appointment only and I did not see this listed anywhere on the web site. The carpet in the room was very dirty, I was wearing white socks and the soles were black from the dirty carpet. There was no indication on the web site about the resort fee and I only found out about it after I booked the room.

What a wonderful stay at The Lodge at Breckenridge! Who doesn't want to wake up to those views after sleeping on the most comfortable bed? What frequent traveler isn't impressed by the complete package of amenities these rooms have? With a perfect view of the mountains, Traverse restaurant offers a memorable dining experience with delicious food and attentive service. The hospitality and great recommendations from the reception team made our #BreckLife even more enjoyable. We appreciate all the care and treats provided during our stay: from Rhonda, the hotel Manager, the welcome and great concierge skills of the reception team, the efficient and detailed Housekeeping and Maintenance crew keeping the place impeccable and spotless; to our Traverse friends making the experience WAY more than a restaurant with a good view.
Thank you! You GoBreck!

This was the second time we stayed at The Lodge. We were there to celebrate my husbands birthday. The Lodge is a cozy hotel with spectacular views. I love the lobby and some of the staff members are great! I love the fireplace in some of the rooms.

There was unfortunately some issues with our stay this time. It is hard to reach the staff at the front desk. They put you almost every tine on hold up to 15 minutes. There was a wedding event at the hotel and the loud music affected our sleep in the beginning of the night. At the breakfast the coffee machine was broken, the orange juice was just water. Eggs, bacon and berries were out. After 45 minutes they brought in more bacon. There was no gluten free alternatives. When we ordered dinner at the restaurant we asked for a burger without bun, because they didn’t have gluten free buns or do salad wraps. We still got the bun that we couldn’t eat because it had gluten in it and it contaminated the rest of the food. We asked also for a medium-rare burger, but it was just red and bloody.

But overall a ok stay, but not great as we were hoping for.

Breckenridge is a great area year round. Nov - April are great for skiing and winter activities. June - Sept are great for biking, hiking, rafting and summer activities. May and Oct are great if you want to avoid the busier times. Sept and Oct are also great for fall foliage. We hope to see you!
