I was a little hesitant about staying here based on the smattering of reviews and the steal of a price... but we went for and have no regrets!! As long as you read all of the reviews and know how the lodge operates (i.e. limited front desk help outside of certain hours) and where it's located, I don't think you'll...

I made a reservation online through the Skiway Lodge reservation system. Two days later I received a phone call and email stating their hotel was overbooked and I no longer had a reservation. I had plans with friends who were flying in from out of town and I was hoping the Skiway Lodge would have helped find another place to...

We absolutely loved Skiway Lodge! The location is great! You can walk or drive to the city center very quickly. There is also a bus that picks up right outside that takes you to the mountain. The rooms are very cozy and cute! We stayed in suite #6 and it was really nice. This suite is located on the 3rd...

We stayed here with some friends for 2 nights in dec. When you come up to the front we found our packets taped to the front door with our names on the envelopes.Like everyone says, there is no one there to check you in or greet you, which is fine. You open up your envelope and there is paperwork and...

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights in October and it was perfect. Checkin was really easy and friendly, and they thought of everything. Just inside the door that goes onto the deck with 2 hot tubs, they have nice plastic tumblers for you to transfer drinks and be safe in the hot tubs. There are snacks in...

A terrific property that does a lot of things right. Great rooms (we have suite 1) with fridge and microwave. Outstanding views, super-hot hot tub, wide-screen TV, comfy towels. No breakfast to speak of and because this was the "off-season" a weird check-in (basically just left the keys to the room taped to the office door). Indeed, the property was...

I'm not a fussy traveler, and I don't nit pick over trivial things when it comes to reviews, but I gotta say, this one is making me scratch my head. For 3 days, I called them and left messages but no one called me back. I wanted to ask about the Military discount (I wonder if it was ever applied...)...

Cozy, but if you have more than 2 people, it will feel cramped. No AC, but we left the windows open and it was comfortable during the summer. To the owners, you might look into having a drop key box. We didn't know what to do with the keys to avoid the $50 fee and the other people behind us...

Skiway Lodge is cozy and the location is ideal. Traveled to Breckenridge for the first time with my husband and loved every minute of our stay. The staff is friendly and helpful, the lodge itself is quiet and peaceful - felt like we were the only ones here at times! A short walk to Main Street and the gondola -...

Skiway is a nice small hotel for a Breckenridge ski trip. The location is ideal: half a block to the Freeride bus to Peaks 7 and 8, rear entrance off the gondola ski back trail, and an easy walk to town. We loved the outdoor hot tubs, which were well-maintained (and hot). No breakfast, and coffee is in-room only. We...
