We need a place for a one night stay between time share stays at the Marriott in Vail and the Grand Lodge at Peak 7 in Breck. We weren't looking for anything special or a place with lots of extra amenities. The Breck Inn was perfect. The front desk service was excellent. They even let us check-in as early as noon. It was clear when we entered that they were focusing on cleanliness. We were very comfortable that our room had been cleaned and disinfected as much as possible. The room had two queen beds that were very comfortable. The internet, TV, and AC all worked well. We had a fridge and keurig. There was quality lotion, body was and shampoo. A special note, we didn't have an opportunity to use it, but they have a wonderful looking hot tub area. Overall, it was perfect for what we were looking for.

It's a great location, very close to all the shops, right off the main road, and walking distance from a creek. The room is very clean, it feels big, and has pretty decor. I like the big windows that let in natural light and give a view of the mountains. The bed is big, comfortable and has nice pillows. I like that the sink is separate from the toilet/shower room, so there's less of us getting in each other's way. The closet is big; I appreciate the hooks on the wall for coats. The lobby area is big, clean, nice decor and there are good amenities (although we understandably weren't able to use some bc of Covid). I like that there's a swing outside to enjoy the mountain view and air and that you have the option to choose a room with a balcony and mountain view. The cleaning staff are very friendly and gave us a warm smile and greeting. They seem to enjoy working there, which is always a good sign. The man who checked us in was kind to provide us with plates when I asked. Overall a good choice for the price range. I can see myself staying here again in the future.

Disliked · I wish the room had a microwave and a table. It was awkward when trying to eat dinner. I also wish it had a key-less entry. A personal opinion: I would've preferred the music in the lobby to be something calming, like jazz music. Overall those, these are minor compared to what they got right!

Stopped in Breckenridge for the night for our anniversary and due recovery from an injury, could not walk around Breckenridge much but this hotel totally made up for that. It's a local hotel that is VERY well managed and we had a lovely room with a balcony and they even gave us a bottle of champagne which after being married a long time and not being able to do much, made the day extremely special. The rooms are well equipped with a good refrigerator and a small freezer and nice Keurig with plenty of coffee and tea options. They provide plenty of nice towels, toiletries, and if you did need a microwave, they have one in the breakfast area you can use at anytime and fruit and granola bars out 24 hours. The hotel staff is extremely friendly and helpful and very well trained. The breakfast in the morning is continental but very well stocked with waffles and hard boiled eggs along with all the normal things. The bed was extremely comfortable and was a great stay all around. Will definitely stay here again if the opportunity arises.

It feels like an old motel that they enclosed with an ok looking facade. It had a super tiny bathroom with only a toilet and tub with barely any space between the two. The sink was outside of the tub/toilet. The light switch for the bathroom is outside the bathroom so good luck not blinding anyone else in the room when you fumble across the array of light switches. But chances are the other people weren't sleeping because the beds are uncomfortable and the sheets sound like rubbing pieces of cardboard together. The "breakfast" is cheap processed food that I wouldn't count on as something to fuel your body before hitting the slopes.

We had 3 nights booked, but left after 2.

Fair warning: If you're considering purchasing fractional real estate at the Grand Colorado on Peak 8 resort and you sign up for a promotional stay there, they instead hide you in this roadside motel. If I had been expecting these types of accommodations, they probably would've been fine — but as it stood, it did not have any of the amenities I was expecting (e.g., fitness center, pool), my room next to the road was so loud that I had to download a white noise app, the room was weirdly humid so I had to keep the balcony door cracked, and the lighting in the bathroom was so yellow that I thought I had a liver problem. The continental breakfast is only open for two hours and has nothing healthy available other than some bruised bananas. That said, the staff was friendly!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Breck Inn. We did not have a car, so we utilized the Summit County bus system along with the complimentary shuttle available 8-6 at Breck Inn. The incredibly friendly staff made it fun to be there along with a complimentary breakfast and a wine and cheese hour on Friday evenings 4-6pm. The management, staff, and shuttle drivers made sure we could get where we wanted to go and knew what time the last shuttle was available.
When we asked them about the various things to do in town, they were knowledgeable about the various areas and had great recommendations, like Soupz On in the City Market plaza for lunch or an early dinner.
We will definitively return to the Breck Inn on our next trip to Breckenridge!

My wife and I traveled with 2 young kids. Even they thought the rooms were smaller than the regular hotel rooms we were used to staying in. Beds and pillows are very comfortable and the common areas are kept clean. They should clean rooms daily by now. Staff was friendly and courteous. Biggest con is the location on the side of busy road and that you are not near walking area of the town. You will need to drive to get anywhere but the good news is everything in Breck is 5-10 minutes away. Their breakfast is very good. Good waffles, boiled eggs, juices, cereals and they are generous with the fresh fruit and snack bars which are out all day. Its tough for me to compare value as I stayed as part of a promo which I think most people do.

The Breck Inn is an affordable option in Breckenridge. The service and rooms leave nothing to be desired. We enjoyed breakfast and the outdoor hot tub after our ski days. Front desk staff was extremely helpful and the evening wine/cheese offerings were fun.

We visited during an unusual time of year, but that doesn't have anything to do with the issues we saw. Post-pandemic understaffing has led to low cleaning standards (our room was covered in dust and was overall dirty) and maintenance issues. The staff was very friendly and helpful, but they don't have enough employees to keep up with the requirements to maintain standards. There is almost no noise control from room to room, or from room to the nearby road. I can't imagine staying here during ski season.

Courtesy shuttle was so helpful and the driver was so knowledgeable of local events and restaurants. The Inn was very clean. Location at north end of town was fine although you had a long walk into town - but the shuttle was always available. I would certainly stay again either in the Fall or Winter months.

Hello fawngirl, Thank you so much for your inquiry about bringing pets to the Breck Inn. Unfortunately we are not pet friendly and only permit licensed service animals on property. There is a fantastic local animal boarding house called "The Dog House" which is conveniently located 5 minutes from the property. They have a variety of options for caring for your travel companion, including making it easy to pick-up/drop-off throughout the day. You can learn more information online by searching "Breckenridge Dog House," about how to set up your pet boarding reservation. Please don't hesitate to reach out to us if you have further questions. Our Front Desk line is (970) 547-9876 We hope to see you in Breck soon! Thank you, Kevan Beall

Hi David, sorry we didn't get to see this earlier. We do have a courtesy shuttle that runs daily from 8 am until 6 pm. Our shuttle can take you anywhere in town, including the base of the Gondola or the base of peak 9. It runs on demand, so we don't have set times. Just stop by the lobby or give us a call and we will drop you off and pick you up!! Thanks, Romi Feia, Breck Inn Supervisor
