Dear Hugo H, We are happy to hear that you, your husband and your friend enjoyed your time with us at Grand Timber Lodge. With the fantastic snowfall we have experienced thus far, we hope your friend was able to experience the world-class skiing Breckenridge is famous for and are glad to have complemented that. While Spain is quite a long trip for your friend, we hope you and your husband will be able to stay with us again soon! Josh Stuhr General Manager 970.547.3616

Dear Toni Wagner, We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us, and even more excited to have completed all of our recent renovations! Over the past several months we have been busy creating a new Fitness Center and Family Fun Center, which features an updated arcade and 4 private theaters for our guests to enjoy. This is a great offering for our guests, who can make reservations once on property by visiting the Concierge. Our new restaurant, The Stinky Boot Saloon, does have competition in town, but is striving to be one of the best. If you have any feedback they can use to enhance their operation, we want to know so we can continue to improve. Thank you for sharing your review and we hope to see you again soon so you can enjoy the brand new amenities! Josh Stuhr General Manager 970.547.3616

If you want an expensive room with very worn and outdated rooms stay here. The carpets in the rooms, hallways, and elevators are never clean. Our refrigerator was not clean as well and had a horrible smell. Room was musky and we tried all week to air-out with no luck.

Dear sjc1980, July is a beautiful time of year to visit Breckenridge. The high temperature will generally be in the 70's with lows in the 40's or 50's. To ensure swimming is comfortable, our pools are heated year round so you will find the water to be nice and comfortable. Please let us know if you have any questions in planning. Our front desk is available 24 hours per day at 970.453.4440. Josh Stuhr General Manager

The ski trails to and from Grand Timber Lodge are dependent on natural snowfall and can have variable conditions throughout the season as a result. To ski back to the resort, you can follow the Snowflake or Sawmill trails, depending on which side of the resort you are staying. To ski out to the lifts, you can ski down to the Snowflake Lift, which services Peak 8, by following the trail just across from our main driveway. There is also a trail that leaves the resort from our on site Christy Sports that leads to the Beaver Run Superchair and terrain on Peak 9. This route does require you to cross the ski area parking lot, but offers the easiest access to Peak 9 and 10. Additionally, the Grand Timber Lodge shuttle is available to drop you off at the many drop off locations, including the Quicksilver lift, Gondola, and the Beaver Run Superchair. We do have a video tutorial of the this access on our website to help provide a visual reference. Please feel free to contact us directly if you have any additional questions we can help answer. We also owned at GL7 and had the same experience with rarely having bonus time available. We have had more luck getting bonus time at GTL. Weekends are still difficult during ski season but not impossible at GTL.

Our courtesy shuttle services the core area of Breckenridge, from City Market to the Ice Rink in the North and South directions, and then from Park Avenue towards Carter Park in East and West. On Main Street and the surrounding areas there are designated shuttle stops, about one each block. They are marked with a "Lodging Shuttle Stop" sign that is easily recognizable. The drivers are very familiar with these stops and where to pick you up. When looking for a ride leaving the resort, it is not necessary to call, as Grand Timber Lodge is their home base and they return as quickly as possible. To get a ride from town back, there is a phone number to call which connects you directly with the driver, so they can provide an accurate estimate of when they will be able to pick you up. Maps of town and the designated shuttle stops are available with the Concierge, who are also able to provide recommendations for restaurants and sites to visit during your visit to Breckenridge. If you have any additional questions, do not hesitate to contact the Grand Timber Lodge front desk, they are available 24 hours per day to assist! Josh Stuhr General Manager 970.547.3616

We are happy to share that Refresh Massage Studio is up and running in Building 1 of Grand Timber Lodge. This new space continues to provide massage services here at the resort. For those seeking nail or skin care services are encouraged to take advantage of the discounts available at Soothe Spa. Robes continue to be available upon request for your week. Simply notify the front desk that you would like a robe and they will either provide you with one, or housekeeping will deliver it to your room. Thank you for your question and we hope to see you soon! Josh Stuhr General Manager 970.547.3616
