NUMBER OF ROOMS
Nice location and amenities. However, the check-in process is somewhat convoluted if you do not plant to use their valet service. Also, their valet service requires you to remove your vehicle by 1 pm the next day. Therefore, if you drive up on the day before and plan to ski on the next day then you will have two pay for 2 days of parking (i.e. $70). Also, I was charged for excess items that I did not use in the room -- 2 Cliff Bars and 1 Drink. I did not touch any of these items so I am not sure whether they do this to a lot of customers to try to make an extra buck or what. I called to complain and the response was meh, they said they would simply talk to their manager. No apology or anything of that sort for the inconvenience.
From the welcoming, friendly staff at the desk, to the comfortably chic and inviting decor all throughout the hotel's common spaces, to the delicious Cabin Juice restaurant & bar, to the well appointed and thoughtfully-designed and clean-clean-clean rooms, Gravity Haus has it ALL! They have thought of everything to make your ski or mountain holiday truly spectacular. We will absolutely stay at Gravity Haus on our next visit.
Everything was very nice. Parking, even with valet, can be a challenge. The team is absolutely great but the space is tight. --- This review minimum character requirement by tripadvisor is crazy why would there be a mandated minimum?
We met at the coffee bar which is far better than Starbucks. There is a great fireplace and comfortable seating and a good spot to relax and connect. BUT there was a chair that sounded like a dog barking every time you sat down. I couldn't help but plopping my bottom up and down to make it bark! I know, I am 66 years old and acting like a 5 year old laughing my butt off. ( pun) So when my meeting starting with a lady I had never met before, I led her to the barking chair, insisting that she take the best seat in the house. Now we will be forever friends, or she will never talk to me again! Lisa Reinicke/award winning author
Great ambiance, and layout. Staff is excellent! It's a very short walk to main street for restaurants and shops. And a short walk to the lifts. Ski storage is included. They promote hanging out in the lounge with hot chocolate. I did and engaged in wonderful conversations with others. Cons: Rooms are not well sound proofed. Don't accept a room over the gym. Noisy at 3:00 AM. My second room location was better but not fully quiet. And I don't wear my hearing aids while sleeping.
