We stayed in One ski hill place for our first ski trip ever. It was better than I imagined. The staff(Leo and his colleagues) were very attentive from the minute we walked in the resort till we left the place. Breakfast buffet was a plus, and there were delicious choices for all of us. Every detail was well thought and place was very immaculate sanitized daily... Our son took lesson on ski school so it was very convenient, ski valet and complimentary shuttle(Phil and Will) were always helpful and very informative of the area. Concierge ladies were very knowledgeable and always eager to help. Hot tubs and pool area was wonderful also. Best part was the delicious cookies after a long ski day. Bowling alley was fun. We could walk to close by resort and eat there also. Drinks at the hotel were delicious. This place is amazing and I would not hesitate to book this place again.

We just returned from a family ski trip. We had a blast and I couldn’t have been happier with our accommodations. The resort is prime location and the valet service for skis makes it even better. We had both a one bedroom and two bedroom suite and both were up to my high standards. The staff was wonderful. We used their ride service after the gondola closed to return after a night downtown. We also enjoyed the bowling alley and hot tub. Everything was absolutely wonderful!

This was our first stay at One Ski Hill but not our first time in Breckenridge. We appreciated the ability to walk out on the first floor 10 minutes before ski lessons started and our daughter being early :) Each unit is individually owned and ours was well stocked with everything we needed for the week! Marty, Zac, and all of the ski valets were amazing! Being handed your skis when you walk out the door in the morning is such a luxury, as well as them returning them for us at the end of the week! We were able to take the gondola into town before 5PM and then Peter would pick us up after dinners and safely drive us back. Everyone was V helpful and for us the sauna and pools were great, the indoor hot tub was working but the outdoor wasn’t but if we wanted to we had the option to walk a minimal amount of steps next door to their hot tubs :) I will end by noting that after recent reviews I called and talked with management to level set expectations and we walked through every concern and came up with alternatives, many were not needed and overall we highly recommend!

We visit Breck annually and either stay in a home or at Mountain Thunder Lodge. Since we were going off peak, over Labor Day weekend, the rates were decent compared to ski season so we decided to try it. While it is the best location for skiing, we found the location to be inconvenient during the off peak season. The gondola stops running around 5, so we had to drive into town and park every time we went in. Parking in Breck isn't easy, so we always needed to add extra time for that. Even thought the rates were decent relative to ski season, it was still pricey. Some of the facilities were not available, like the restaurant not being open. Our unit was a penthouse, which sounded nice, but we had a view of the parking lot and the furniture was uncomfortable, like in a cheap hotel. The unit itself was dated and could use a refresh. We will go back to staying at Mountain Thunder Lodge the next time we visit.

We have stayed at this property several times over the last 10 years and this was not a 4 star experience this last time. They charged us $207 A NIGHT resort fee. The hot tub steam and sauna were broken, they didn’t have the pods to make lattes or specialty coffees, and we didn’t get housecleaning services until 4pm the day before we checked out. (3 night stay) it almost seemed pointless for them to clean the room at that point and we truly don’t understand what amenities we received in order to be billed that much for a resort fee. Furniture extremely dated and uncomfortable. Sadly we won’t be returning to this property and instead will go next door to Grand Colorado. This hotel used to be a 4 star but this was a 3 star stay.

First, the positive:
1. Parking right in the building
2. Directly on the hill
Next, the negative:
1. Rooms are tired, not well maintained. Hot water not very hot; gouges in the wall; room cold much of the time
2. Stayed an entire week, but only one cleaning. We had to ask for garbage to be taken.
3. Pool area is old, tired, smells
4. Restaurant has mediocre overpriced food.
5. Elevators sometimes stop working.

If you’re willing to spend $1,000+ per night you might want to look elsewhere.

Stayed week before Christmas. Excellent slope side location. Friendly enough staff and ski valets are excellent. But there was suppose to be room service but when we called at 7 pm on a Friday night no one answered...ever. Finally called front desk who seemed clueless. Finally they called back said the chef had gone home so there would be no service. The shuttle to town was horrible. I called 45 minutes prior to our in town dinner reservation (and for the Peak week they charge $50 pp for no shows) and no one answered the shuttle line. I called the front desk who were clueless and just told me to call back. I did. The phone range for 8 minutes before finally someone answered. I asked for a shuttle and she said she'd send a link on our phone to know when it was there. No link. She calls my cell and tells me its there and we need to get downstairs. But when we do there's no shuttle. Then I get the link while we are standing outside freezing and it shows "2 stops and 7 minutes" then suddenly it shows 12 stops and 38 minutes. We finally gave up and drove our car to town to avoid missing our reservation. I tried to call back later to speak to a manager and no one answered the damn phone. This place has a $1000 a night location with a Motel 8 amenity service. All you'll get here is location. The food service is beyond bad and nothing like a Rock Resorts and the shuttle is useless.

We have stayed here throughout the years since it opened. We have witnessed a major deterioration of quality and service. This past time was the last time. It’s one thing to pay $2000 a night, but to sneak in the fine print a $200/night resort fee for broken indoor hot tub, outdoor hot tub, sauna, AND steam room is unacceptable. After contacting management regarding the issues, no regard for customer service or even a response was provided. Next time we will spend our money elsewhere

There is no need to stay at this overpriced hotel ("resort is a gross exaggeration) when the town of Breckenridge offers so many other options. The staff, specifically the front desk, is inexplicably rude and unhelpful; the rooms are small with zero luxuries (or even small niceties {coffee mugs? wine glasses?}). By far, however, the worst aspect is that after skiing, you are stuck - the dining option is not just limiting, but overpriced, oversalted, and underwhelming; the transportation to the town of Breck doesn't exist. So, if you want to eat a meal, you will need to add significant Uber fees into your overall vacation budget. Caught unaware of this fact, we spent 45+ minutes stranded unable to get back to the hotel. Here too, management seems nonplussed and unconcerned. Mold in the shower; cheap furniture...I could go on. Save your money and stay anywhere else.

Upfront -- not a fan of staying in large hotels for skiing. One Ski Hill Place is not small and although the rooms "look like a condo inside" the atmosphere is really a hotel. If you want ski in/ski out at Breckenridge however it is the only choice unless you try VRBO for one of the rooms in the Grand Colorado which seems to be more of a time share.

Critiquing the lodging concept based upon what it is, here are some comments.
1. Ski valets slope side were excellent. They practically knew you after your first day of skiing.
2. Reception feels like a number. There is no Ritz Carlton style greeting despite the price of this lodging.
3. Common areas are really small especially the restaurant, the outdoor jacuzzi, the indoor jacuzzi and pool. Went once to the outdoor jacuzzi and the trek wasn't worth it.
4. Nice parking garage. Ample space overall and parking spaces are generous.
5. Room amenities are sparse. One tea towel, One extra blanket (for a 2 bedroom condo), no nonstick pans, no stemmed wine glasses, no basic dry goods.
6. Functionality needs improvement: Fireplace hums loudly for the bedroom directly behind it. Living room coffee table edges are very sharp. Be careful. Kitchen space suffers from the extremely large foyer entrance.

Overall, this property doesn't compare to the ones found in Vail, Beaver Creek or Bachelor's Gulch when deciding to pay for slope side accommodations.

they are own by individual owner and most but not all are run by rockresort.. i don't think there is a dedicated website but instead use airbnb or vrbo or google it online and i think all the major travel site you can book it there. I use vrbo as i found them to have the best price at least for 2021.
