An amazing location and truly ski-in, ski-out access to Breck - and the gondola here offers a great way to avoid the long lines elsewhere in the resort. The condos themselves are very comfortable and spacious with all the amenities you need, perfect for groups! The resort had great parking & the outdoor jacuzzis were to die for - perfect for relaxing with amazing views of the mountains, highly recommend a morning or apres-ski relaxation time there! The only slight challenge with our stay was the split between this resort and the one down the road - that is where all check-in / check-out and food, etc. is managed from. And it's not a walk, it's definitely a drive down the mountain. Makes things a bit logistically challenging but if you go in "eyes open" you can plan around it, just worth noting. Overall, would stay again given the location alone!

We experienced a very disappointing stay at the Crystal Peak Lodge…RM#7008. If you stay here bare in mind it is NOT staffed!! There is no lobby check in and very little attention to guests in this building. Our condo was very run down and there were server also problems as soon as we arrived. Our room did not have a working thermostat and it was 79*+ unless we opened doors or windows… our fireplace would not come on…. After fidgeting with gas and pooled we were able to get it to light once. Then it went off and would not come back one. The TV was not working… lamps in living room would not work on outlet and had to move and plug into different outlets to get light in living room. The dishwasher ran and we were thrilled until we went to unload dishwasher and had to rewatch all dishes by hand. The carpets were disgusting… not a real deal breaker… but seriously cleaning could have been better. To top it all off our room got broke into!! We were took the Gondola to Breck town and when we came back the door jam wood had been broken and we had to call security. Do yourself a favor… spend your money a different property!!!!

Beautiful, spacious, wonderfully furnished condo's with fantastic views and premium features. Gondola access is onsite. Upscale condo property with access to nearby sister property. Sevens restaurant is walking distance and delicious! We stayed in a 3 bedroom 3 bath condo (#7308), full kitchen, living room, dining room, balcony, washer/dryer. We were only there for one night but everything was fantastic. It's up away from the hustle and bustle of downtown and offers beautiful views. We visiting in the summer and the property was very quiet and peaceful. The restaurant next door (Sevens) was a quick walk and very good. This was our second stay here and I would stay again.

In terms of location for skiing you cannot beat this location. Literally roll out of bed, put your boots on, walk down the hall and grab your skis and walk out of ski locker 15 feet from Independence ski lift. You also are right at the gondola site to go to peak 8 or into town. Beware the gondola coming back from town closes at 4 pm. The accommodations are good. We got a one bedroom condo, could not secure a 2 bedroom. The kitchen is with well running, clean appliances. The coffee maker did not work and they immediately brought new one. The view is beautiful off a small balcony My only complaint is kind of older furniture in the living room that had been sprayed by so much febreeze that we had to keep airing out the room . I guess thats not a big deal it really made me want to stay out of the room, During covid if you need something from housekeeping they will bring it, but they will not be cleaning the condo daily which is not different than we had experienced at other condos before covid. You are provided with coffee. We went down to ask about tea and there is none to be had. We asked if there were any shops onsite to buy and told no. So if you need milk or something quick I guess you go into town. I would very much recommend that you do your grocery shopping before you get to the mountains. There are some tiny, understocked, overpriced shops in the town of Breckenridge. There is not a place to get small things onsite such as milk. So basically this is the most convenient to skiing condo I have ever stayed at. There are a few things to maneuver for amenities. I would give this a 4.5 if I could. I just cant find the condo a 5. If I were not here to ski I would go elsewhere.

We stayed at Crystal Peak Lodge Jan. 30, 2021 through Feb. 5, 2021. The two bedroom condo was very spacious, nicely decorated, and clean. It felt up to date. The staff was very friendly and helpful in resolving any little issue that came up. (For example, the t.v. in the family room did not work right at first. It was fixed less than 30 minutes after we called about it.). The convenience of the Crystal Peak Lodge is hard to beat. It is literally steps to the Peak 7 lift. If you need to ski green runs (none available on Peak 7), you can take a 5 minute gondola ride over to peak 8. The gondola is also just steps away from the lodge. There is free garage parking, so you can easily drive the 5 minutes into town. I am sure there are other ways to get to town, but we liked driving our own car. We will definitely stay at this lodge in the future.

No housekeeping service during a 7 night stay did little to make us feel clean and safe during a pandemic despite the resort's assertions this is why they discontinued the services. Had to request clean towels more than a day in advance. No hot tub, no sauna, no amenities of any kind yes right next door at Grand Lodge on peak 7 the hot tubs were obviously open and being enjoyed by guests far wiser than us.....will never book accommodations with Crystal Peak again.

We stayed before at One Ski Hill, next door on Peak 8. Yes, it’s a bit more upscale and a better hotel, but this place is also amazing and given the fact that guests here can use all the facilities of One Ski Hill, just a 2 min away gondola away, makes this a no-brainer! The apartments are fantastic. Ours was a two-bedroom and two baths. Nice kitchen and living room. I read about the service, specially at the front desk not being great and even rude. This was not what happened with us. The best of all is its location! Peak 7 Independence chair is literally twenty steps away and so is their cafeteria. For blue trail skiers such as us, nothing better!

Disclaimer this is my first trip to Breckenridge and it is early in the season so I try to be extremely fair and transparent. Please look at the number of excellent reviews and when they stayed, also the possibility they are NOT skiers. We booked early in the season - Independence chair was closed. If that chair is closed you do not have ski out! You can take the gondola down to Peak 8, but if that chair is closed I would stay at Peak 8 or Peak 9 to begin with. The ski in is a very nice trail that puts you right at the property, take Claimjumper down and follow the signage. If you are a skier, we stayed in Unit 7106 that is very close to the ski lockers and same level as fitness center with a steam room. The room is nice and spacious too. If the rest of the review does not discourage you I would consider asking for this Unit. Someone else posted about this unit too discussing roll out bed, etc.. Now for the negative stuff. Front desk was not helpful on more than one occasion. I was going to tell you all of the details, but Bryan the manager spoke to me and assured me that the front desk will go over how to handle hotel guests. So in the future if you have issues with the front desk reach out to Bryan. In summary, front desk needs training in customer service. There are not amenities you would expect for a property that looks this nice. No robes, no food, and you do have access to One Ski Hill and their amenities, but my advice is just go stay at the sister property. If the chair is working this is a great ski in and ski out location. Location 5 stars. Service right now 3 stars. Cleanliness 4 because of the housekeeping issue.
