BlueSky - the facility, staff, service, location, amenities and ski shop were all outstanding. We made our booking through booking.com and were forced to deal with BlueSky's management company for everything prior to our arrival. Vacasa was awful. Here are some examples: 1. Vacasa told us that towels were provided but we had to bring our own bed linens. We went out and bought a set of king-size sheets, and transported those along with a set of full size sheets (that we already owned) in our luggage with all our clothes and ski equipment. Obviously, when we got here we found that bed linens were included. 2.Since we were staying for four weeks, we enquired about housekeeping services. Vacasa told us that there were no housekeeping services; they said that only the final cleaning after we left was included. They helpfully gave me the name of a local contract cleaning service that we could hire during our stay. After our arrival, we found out that BlueSky provides a mid-week housekeeping service each week, which was excellent. 3.The online description listed a restaurant and bar on site. There is, but they did not share with us that it would be closed the entire 4 weeks we were in residence. They also did not mention that BlueSky provided its own on demand shuttle service to downtown. This was a great perk that we used often! We loved everything about BlueSky! Vacasa - not so much. :(…
Had a condo with private hot tub, which was fantastic, and we used every day after skiing. Nice condo resort, unit was in excellent shape, clean. The kitchen well stocked and on the small side. Very convenient to Snowflake lift but we found the line in the morning very long so be patient.
Just wrapping up 7 day stay. Unit 513 offers some privacy being on corner and has great view of mountains(see pics). The staff really bent over backwards to make us feel like we were the only guests they had during our stay. Complimentary shuttle is very convenient and they were always willing to take us into town. You can walk as well but fair warning the walk to town is downhill leaving uphill journey home if you don’t call the shuttle. Free parking in lots off of main drag after 3 pm (or 5pm depending). Lots of activities to do in Breck and beyond. We hiked Hoosier Pass , drove to St Mary’s Glacier and did the train/mine tour in Georgetown. In town -take the free Gondola to Peak 8 and the. Super chair (for a fee) up to the top for fantastic views. Breck Stables was also a fun diversion. Can’t wait to plan our return trip!…
Just completed a 5 night stay at this great lodging option on a ski trip with daughter and BF. Excellent experience all around. Why? Location could not be more convenient. Charter Sports ski rental on the first floor with a locker room to change and store ski boots next door plus a spa (which we didn’t use). Walk out and up a few stairs to the Snowflake chair lift. Truly ski in/ski out. The unit we stayed in was top notch (416). A two bed, two bathroom unit. Clean, well appointed with everything necessary including a full kitchen plus the bonus of a private hot tub on the deck. Even though the unit was a few steps from the general outdoor pool area which had 3 hot tubs plus a Games room. The main lobby was very nice and there’s a small pub plus a library/business center on the top floor. The staff were great, and they had an amazing shuttle service which would take us into town for dinner and pick us up each night. Kudos to Joe, the shuttle driver for professional and courteous service! If I was forced to mention a couple of small drawbacks: This unit lacked natural light since the living room looked out on a retaining wall-so no views to speak of. Also-no housekeeping service during our stay but they did refresh towels and toiletries. This was no big deal for us, but might be for others. In short, a comfortable and convenient place to stay. Would return!…
We had a great stay at BlueSky during Christmas week. Our two bedroom, two bath condo was spacious, clean and well-appointed. The lobby was beautifully decorated for the holiday. The location is convenient to the mountain and a short walk to town. The complimentary shuttle made it even easier to get around. The staff was friendly, helpful and responsive to requests. The hot tubs and pools were clean and well-maintained.
We had a great stay at BlueSky. Our 2 bedroom condo was perfect. The Balcony at 604 South was spacious with a relaxing view - we wished we could have had a better view of the mountains - but we enjoyed it just the same. Being on the top floor with the cathedral ceiling in the living room was beautiful and quiet! Location is great with a short walk to all downtown has to offer!
I give very few reviews here but I was very impressed by the Wyndham BlueSky property. The decor was fantastic, the place was huge, it had heated floors (a little tricky getting used to sleeping at night--we had to open the window at night) and the housekeeping was prompt and thorough. A few more things: 85 degree heated pool, 3 BIG hot tubs heated to 103 degrees, ski valet at night (just put your skis on the outdoor rack when done for the day, they take them inside and put them back out in the morning (I always lock mine because I once had a pair taken years ago), and a heated boot/locker room--just wear your normal shoes downstairs the the boot room, put on your boots, walk 15 steps and you are outside at the ski rack getting your skis, and you have about 20 feet and 8 steps up to the snowflake lift (not the fastest lift, but you are slopeside at least). However, the part that tied it together was the staff. They are all so friendly, happy and all look like they love their jobs. They were so great to work with. We had a few issues which were resolved within minutes. I was out there 2 weeks earlier and they stored my skis and boots so I didn't have to bring them back out. The shuttle really eliminated our need for a vehicle, and its a big Mercedes Van. I'm probably missing something but we had a great time and we all raved about the place and we are no strangers to international travel. Highly recommended.…
Me and a buddy brought our two boys out to Breckenridge a few weeks back to experience some good skiing and landed on BlueSky. Check in was great and the front desk was staffed by really personable employees. We rented a two bedroom two bath unit. The condo was updated, clean, and well maintained. This location is right next to the Snowflake lift, giving one easy access to the slopes. Only downside is taking the trail on the way back as it’s a bit of a struggle for kids. You can purchase tickets right next to the rental shop - all in the same building. The pool and hot tub are also great after a day of skiing. The location is a manageable walk to downtown Breckenridge. Only issue is if you want to walk back as this is a bit of a hike for smaller kids. Overall, great place and will likely make this my place to go in Breckenridge. …
We’ve been visiting for years. Another great trip. So convenient for ski in ski out, charter sports for ski rental... on site lift ticket office. A new change- Cu Tavern now has food! Andre is serving something special! Huge addition, he’s a very talented master chef. Highly recommend.
We stayed here for 3 nights for a ski vacation, and were very pleased with BlueSky. The room was beautiful, clean and quiet (could not hear our neighbors...always a plus for me), and had everything we needed. It's also right at the base of the Snowflake chairlift, so it literally is a ski-in / ski-out hotel (minus some steps to navigate, but that's fine). There was always free coffee and tea in the lobby, and we utilized their outstanding shuttle service back-and-forth to town the entire time we were there The only reason they received 4 stars instead of 5 is because of their on-site 'tavern'. It seems very out of place with the rest of the establishment, and we never saw anyone in there working, eating, or drinking. The front desk personnel certainly liked to talk it up and spoke highly of the food, but we saw zero people in there for our entire stay. If BlueSky wants to keep this tavern, I recommend they re-do the entire decor to make it more inviting as a nice place to sit and hang out. Instead of talking up the tavern, the front desk personnel should have talked about the great library / siting area that overlooks the lobby, which they failed to mention and we just found it by accident one day.…
