I visit Boulder, from NYC, a few times a year to see family. Without hesitation, I always pick Basecamp as my favorite go-to hotel. Upon arrival, I’m greeted with friendly service, a selection of cold local brews on tap, and an awesome outdoor campfire area to relax after the trip into town. I love the uniquely themed camping decor in the rooms (pour-over over coffee packets, lamps, coolers, maps). It beats the boredom of cookie cutter standard hotel decor and makes me feel even more connected to the local area. Last but not least, Basecamp is walking distance to Pearl Street for a nice dinner, live music, people watching, and a fun night out. Hopefully one of these visits I’ll enjoy the hotel’s hot tub and amenities - I still haven’t tried those yet but I keep coming back given all the other perks. If you’re visiting Boulder and want an awesome local experience, great service, and an excellent location - I highly recommend Basecamp! 🏕…
Been happily staying at this place for many years, while our oldest son studied at Boulder. Back for graduation and hands-down our best experience yet. New management and crew: Shannon and Rachel and team are the most hospitable and kind crew on the planet. We borrowed a stroller, played all the board games and ping-pong, and turned our youngest son loose on the climbing wall. The location and vibe are the best in town, plus the beers on tap and wine, and fire pits and s’mores, and fabulous boutique rooms with lots of personality. Would be silly to stay anywhere else 🌞
I really enjoyed my week here. The staff were super friendly, my bed was very comfortable. Shower hot and good to go, tv great, wifi pumping... I'm trying to look for a flaw and I can't fine one... would definitely go back. Thanks guys!
Not what I expected. I found this on the Michelin APP so I expected it to be not only ‘off the beaten path’ but quality too. It’s a cute idea but the quality is between camping and glamping in a refurbished Motel-6. It is way overpriced for what you get. The staff are average but friendly and the common areas are clean. The renovation looks like a ‘home’ job rather than professional. Caulking around the tub and sink is messy and the floors are very cold. Heated bathroom would be a good idea. Some good things are the linens are high quality and it was quite when we stayed in March. Definitely overpriced though.
Our last leg of a four day ski trip. Love this place! Super convenient and easy. Rooms have a great “camping vibe.” Really nice amenities including hot tub, suana, fire pits on deck and charming cafe/ bar. Very personal and helpful staff. Thanks Basecamp… see you again down the trail. Tom
I had a great experience staying in Boulder at your hotel. The staff was exceptional & professional when talking to them. Your management team were delightful and very helpful on places to go and things to see.
We added a last minute night in Boulder to our trip and stayed at Basecamp. It didn’t disappoint! Jonathan, at the front desk, was amazing! We took full advantage of the amenities. Our son worked out both days, we sat in the hot tub and the best part was their large rec room. We played ping pong, used the large tables to eat Snarfburger, our daughter loved the climbing wall and we watched a movie on their large screen. We would highly recommend Basecamp for an active family stay.
We did a weeklong retreat with our 6 person company at basecamp and it was AMAZING. The rooms were clean with nifty furniture. The staff was great and the bar was reasonably priced! 10/10 would stay again!
Great location - can walk everywhere. Some cute touches but not sure it was worth the $300/night. Pros: Location, fire pits, cute decor, common areas Cons: Cost for what you get, room was musty and damp smelling, worn carpet, beds were average
This is a great property. No, it’s not a high end resort but if you want the Boulder vibe this is a great place. We really loved the fire pits and community area. It was so nice to be able to eat in there and my kids had a great time playing ping pong. The great outdoors room was so fun and a great surprise for my kids. The staff was very kind and helpful the man working at night who recently moved to Boulder was really great. He was so happy to help and never was annoyed with my many questions 😆 during the day Celia was very friendly and helpful too. Thanks for being a fun part of our trip!
