Recently renovated, very quiet, modern country Inn, located in the heart of Boulder high tech companies, adjacent to a park and lots of trails. Complimentary breakfast buffet, local newspaper, high speed internet, business center, hot tub and athletic club are just few of the amenities. We offer great rates for extended stays and have a communal kitchen for guests and all rooms have refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker, plus all utensils and dishes. A great place to stay in Boulder.

Location was absolutely gorgeous, with a swamp and stream and duck pond right there. Lawns to hang out on, trees, quiet neighborhood. Walking paths lead to a bigger river area which is gorgeous too and nice to hang out by. The room itself was a little loud, could hear everything going on in the room next door—meaning the neighbor’s 5am conversation. There’s a rather high pet fee; usually I don’t have to pay the pet fees because my dog is an ESA but they tagged it on as a pet cleaning fee and required that I pay it. At first I was annoyed because it made the room much pricier than I was expecting to pay, but then my dog ran into the swamp and got full of mud and I decided the pet cleaning fee was fair. Overall it’s a really nice place!

Nice small Inn that was economic and clean. No frills but the price was right compared to the chain hotels. You get a nice clean well presented bed, simple sink with tiny amenities, towels, TV, plain but sufficient continental breakfast with hard boiled eggs, a few cereals to choose from, toast, butter and jam, OJ, hot coffee/Tea. The Inn is located in a residential neighbourhood, so it is very quiet. Parking is included.

And this is a great location near metro Boulder in a quiet neighborhood, away from interstates and busy highways, with a fantastic walking/biking path just steps from the front door. Restaurants and establishments in which to imbibe are within a mile. Staff is friendly and accommodating even without having a night person at the front desk. I had occasion to email a request after hours and received a timely reply. Twin Lakes Inn is really not that dated or “tired.” Even without an elevator, request ground floor, is possible.

we stayed one night. The place is tired but clean.
The problem is there is no one there at night, 2 rooms next to ours were occupied by young people who kept going from one room to the other, and slamming the doors, I had to call the hotel at 11:00 PM, and the slamming stopped after a while.
The noise continued (loud tv) in the room next to us, finally at 2:00, I called the reception again, the manager fist said there was no problem, then said he would be there shortly, showed up after 15 minutes.
I wanted some money back they generously offered $25.00, no apologies, no one called me, could not care less !
Supposedly there are cameras filming in the hallway so it would have been very easy to check what was going on, not sure why they did not.
If you want a quiet and safe place, do not stay there.
Plus it takes 15 minutes to go to Boulder, and we paid $15.00 for Uber one way, we would have been better off staying in a nicer place in Boulder and pay $30.00 more rather than Uber !

The motel is homey, clean, and situated in a lovely quiet, suburban area, away from downtown. We appreciated having hard floors; so much cleaner than carpets. It was the perfect motel for bringing our dog that had lots of fun playing fetch in the large, grassy area outside the motel. If you are looking for fancy and wanting to be near clubs, this is not the place for you. Umish, owner and manager with his wife Nita, was incredibly friendly and helpful, assisting my husband and I with information and directions for Boulder sightseeing and hiking trails. The breakfast area is pleasantly quiet and we had an opportunity to meet some lovely international travelers. Thank you for a wonderful, relaxing stay.

A tired hotel that is just a place to sleep. We had to fix the cable box ourselves because no one is here in the evening just a phone number. There are no elevators so if you have lots of luggage be prepared. The hot tub probably was a nice spot in 1995. It was in pieces and empty when we checked it out. We lost Wi-Fi but it may have been the provider. Breakfast starts at 7 however it’s 712 right now and nothing. Based on the hotel’s impression we were smart enough to buy some breakfast sandwiches yesterday just in case. We also have our own creamer for the cheap in room coffee as the breakfast doesn’t appear to be happening.

The location is close to Avery brewery which is a great place to eat and drink. There are nice walking paths and a huge dog park nearby.

The rooms are clean but that’s it.

The hotel is located a little outside the center of Boulder, 7-8 minutes of drive.
In a very calm neighborhood, it will allow you to recharge with a good night sleep!
Rooms are spacious, bed and sheets have been recently changed and offer great comfort.
The staff is extremely friendly and the owners are always ready to say yes!
Finally, breakfast was good with many options.

This was a good location - not in downtown Boulder but more suburban Boulder and not far from downtown, good parking, good rooms, good amenities and reasonable price. Slept well, comfortable beds, nice outdoor area for hanging out. We would stay here again.

We live in this residential neighborhood that is about 15-20 minutes from downtown Boulder. Very safe neighborhood, great for runners; owners are marathoners.
Very happy to have a clean comfortable place to stay with kitchen and air conditioning while our hardwood floors were refinished.
Do not expect Hyatt/Marriott level finishes or upkeep, but pet friendly, clean, awesome front desk service, walk to Avery Brewing, open space trails across the street.
Thank you, Boulder Twin Lakes Inn, grateful to have you in the neighborhood!

We enjoyed a clean place where the family could be safe and have a kitchen. Great value for this area, close to amenities, excellent service. Clean, affordable, helpful, easy to make changes to reservation. They deliver what they promise. We were very happy.
