Unfortunately, we weren't able to change hotels as we would have immediately upon seeing our room in the "south" wing. We happened to be there at the same time as CU and CSU "move in" days so everything was booked. The walkway to our room was so old and dirty we thought we were entering "The Shining". Our room was... I called the hotel directly to confirm reservations a day before our arrival and reached a reservations agent who said the hotel was going through a phone update and I should call back later. This was a Sunday afternoon... When we arrived at the hotel - which is very convenient to Downtown, shopping, bike paths, UC-Boulder - and were given... More

The hotel was quiet and the beds comfortable. Everything else needs work. The bathroom and room were dirty. Needs a good scrubbing and updating. I spent 250.00 a night which was way to high for a hotel like this. Unfortunately I am booked again and can't get my money back. It could be a nice hotel but needs major work.

Great location if you have a student at CU, but this hotel is in needs of a serious upgrade. The common areas need wall repair, new carpet and new lighting. Our room was spacious but the walls needed repair and upgrading. The back patio area had beautiful flowers and a great sitting area however the water fall had weeds growing... More

The hotel is very convenient to Shops and restaurants but the rooms and hallways need an overhaul. I've stayed here twice and it was a good value for Boulder ($125 a night through Priceline). Most hotels are much more expensive. The front desk was very helpful getting us a room with 2?beds The lobby is nice and most rooms haves... More

My comments are not a reflection on the staff. The service may not have been that great but it is only because the hotel is understaffed. The staff did the best they could with the limited resources provided to them. This hotel needs a make over. The hotel is dated and it is dirty. There was a horrible smell in... More

This hotel is a 2 at best. Front desk friendly but without a renovation soon, this place is bordering on gross. The location is decent but awkward to exit. About 1 mile from the heart of Pearl. The beds were ok which is why I didn't give a rating of one.

It's clean enough, but only barely. Don't look behind the bed or you will be grossed out. Also, if you are awakened by a loud air conditioner kicking in every 10 minutes or so, this is not the place for you. However, if you can tolerate a little grunge and a lot of noise, this place is centrally located. Oh... More

I never write anything but positive reviews, so this is definitely a first. After reading the reviews on trip advisor I specifically requested a newly renovated room. They don't exist. The lock on my door was broken and I needed to go down to the front desk eight times in three days to get keys to open the door to... More

I was in the south wing. The hallways were very run down, but the room was large and reasonably nice. The AC seemed to be more fan than chill. Lovely view onto the pleasant grounds, the creek, and the bike/walking path. Kids were swimming in the creek right beside the hotel, and if I had a suit I would have... More
