Clean room, friendly and responsive front desk staff, great location one minute from Pearl Street Mall and amazing key lime pie at the corner bar! In the future, I would call the hotel directly to make a reservation as my same-day online attempt through a third party was still not received by the hotel check-in time more than 8 hours later. The third party wrote in response to my complaint "this is normal." So skip the third party and call Hotel Boulderado to have price matched or beat. We'll be back!

Hi Mara- Thank you for your feedback, and we are happy you enjoyed your stay with us! We agree that booking directly is always a great option. We sometimes have specials available when you book direct that you can not get through third-party booking agencies. We hope that you come back soon for some more key lime pie! Hotel's Favorite
We where so lucky to stay at this lovely historic hotel for two nights. Our room was just lovely with views of the flat irons out our window. The hotel is stunning with the stained glass ceiling in the lobby. The working original Otis elevator still works after 110 years. The Spruce restaurant serves up great meals with local flavors and even had gluten free and vegetarian options. The hotel offered valet parking. The hotel is located in the heart of Boulder and is a wonderful walking town. Pearl street is a block away with great local pubs, microbreweries , restaurants and shopping. We enjoyed all the amenities and loved looking at the old photos and fixtures throughout the hotel. Great friendly staff, good coffee bar and just a wonderful place to relax after walking around beautiful downtown Boulder .

our last minute trip was late June 2020. it was between Hotel Boulderado and St Julien. We went with Hotel Boulderado solely because of cost and i am writing this review to say that this was one of the best hotel experiences in both our lives. We have been to 10+ countries, $750+ a night resorts and this was hands down better than all. that takes alot for me to say. and it was not because i spent 80 days in a studio apt working during Covid-19! Cleanliness and preparedness - they spared no expense ensuring guests were safe and felt comfortable given the current situation. Food - there are amazinig restaurants in Boulder but we had 75% of our meals via the Hotel Boulderado (i must confess i walked the 10 minutes to Moes Bagels each morning and cannot wait to go back). We got the Lobster Dinner package - i am from boston - this was LEGIT. lobster was fresh, chowder was incredible, corn was sweet. We also had lunch, late night snacks from the corner bar and spruce & fish and everything was great. We are picky so thats a great positive rooms - not going to lie my wife would have booked st julien if i didnt look into boulderado and noticed they have modern (updated) rooms. we had a modern king on the fourth floor of the side building and it was INCREDIBLY NEW CLEAN FRESH SPACIOUS AND THE VIEW BEST OF ALL. make sure you face the mountains ok i will wrap this up. thank you hotel boulderado

Was a great place to stay as we wrapped up our trip around CO. The facility was clean, the AC was cold, and the staff were extremely helpful. Can't say enough good things about our stay. You won't be disappointed.

Very nice people and excellent service. We ordered dinner and forgot desert(15 year old daughters), the chef had let the service people go home and delivered it himself promptly! So impressed with his professionalism.
