I loved my stay at Hotel Boulderado, on the fourth floor in the historic section of the hotel. Anyone who appreciates a hotel with a true sense of history and place will adore this hotel, with it's working Otis elevator circa 1906, gorgeous cherry wood stair case, and beautiful stained glass ceiling in the central lobby. The staff was remarkably... More

If you can get past the people who just want the comfort, ask the staff about the history of this hotel. Stephen King wrote a book while living there. (I won't tell you which one, you'll have to ask!) They reserved a corner downstairs that he sat at and typed away every day. And that is just recent history. Ask... More

Excellent! From the valet to the front desk to housekeeping. The room was large, comfortable and immaculate! Everyone was friendly and so very helpful. The location was perfect for us. This is the place to stay in Boulder. The very best!

The Boulderado Hotel is a great old hotel in the center of Boulder. Great valet service and restaurants. The old section of the hotel has great character. The new section has larger rooms. Both restaurants are excellent.

This place was very expensive for what was a very average experience. The big selling point is location. Yes, you can walk to all kinds of cool stuff so you don't have to worry about parking. That is definitely a huge plus. Yes, it is historic and obviously that's super cool. However, I thought it was going to be a... More

Three-night stay while installing a kid at UC Boulder. I'm a big fan of historic hotels and pretty fussy about accommodations, and the Boulderado (name fairly begs to be drawled out in style of Bill Murray lounge singer) was a treat. Warm and professional staff, awesome architecture, great bar (Corner Bar), terrific restaurant (Spruce - 1 dinner and 3 breakfasts),... More

A beautiful, historic hotel in the center of shopping, restaurants, parks, jogging trail. Rooms are updated and comfortable. Decorated in the late 1800's/early 1900's decor. Three bars/restaurants on site. Staff was great. Valet parking available for $15 for 24hrs.

Great venue for a wedding. Parking $15 a day for valet. Great location. Spruce restaurant inside is amazing. Amazing historical building. We got a wedding party price per room and it was about $199/night without taxes and parking. Was worth it. Friendly, kind, helpful staff. Will come back again for vacation! If you aren't used to elevation in Boulder, here's... More

We are from N.C. We stayed here spur of the moment when traveling in CO. We almost tried somewhere else because they have no pool. We have two small boys who love to swim. Im glad we decided to stay at Boulderado. Very nice place to stay. Comfortable beds. Warm and inviting atmosphere. One downside is no public parking. They... More

I stayed at the Boulderado this past week--8/8 to 8/12. The hotel is lovely, it's nice a clean and in a great location. However, I'm disabled and although the hotel advertises itself as accessible, it's really not. There is not a proper ramp to enter the hotel, just a bellman's ramp that is too steep. The hotel in the main... More

Dear Kelly Molloy, We truly appreciate that you shared your honest feedback. Although we do fit the ADA guidelines for hosting disabled persons, we do recognize that the historic nature of the hotel puts some limitations on accessibility throughout the building. The hotel has imminent plans for updates and modifications throughout the lobby and beyond coming in the near future.... More
