We stayed at this historic hotel for 5 days. We stayed in the suite, doing it up right, because we had not traveled for 2 years. Our room was amazing with a corner window view. We were very comfortable, king size bed, with a sitting room and a separate coffee bar with sink. The front desk staff is very friendly and accommodating. The Valet workers are friendly and if you ask for different foods at surrounding restaurants they are the ones who know. Our room were cleaned with friendly room attendants, with Aveda products that are top line. 5 min. Walking distance to many restaurants in the area. Our recommendations!!!

Hotel's Favorite
My family and I just spent two nights at The Boulderado and we were so thrilled with our stay. The entire hotel was sparkling clean, the guests and staff wore masks in the public spaces and the service was exceptional. This is a timeless and elegant hotel with spacious rooms and suites and an ideal location to enjoy Pearl Street. Put it on the top of your list.

The hotel is in a great location. There is no arguing this fact. However, when you walk into the lobby, it is dark and the decor is dated. The same is true for the rooms. The furniture was old and musty, the rugs were an awful taupe color and the wallpaper looked as if it had been installed at the turn of the century. The valets were lovely; they retrieved our car on numerous occasions, always with a smile. The front desk staff was grumpy. Each time we posed them a question, they responded begrudgingly. During this difficult time, they need to smile more.

I realize that this is an old hotel, but the pictures on their website show spacious, sunny rooms with beautiful antique furniture. We arrived late last night and our room is so small that there no room for me to even live out of my suitcase. I should have researched “Boulder Hotels” better before making a reservation. Next time, I am gonna rent an AirBNB. Common areas in lobby are OPK, and the location is great as far as being near the downtown shopping.

Hi Shep, thanks for your honest feedback about your experience. I'm sorry the room size was disappointing and uncomfortable for you. Due to the historic nature of our hotel, our rooms vary in sizes in our historic wing. We have square footage and photos of our room types on our website so as to help our guide our guests at the time of booking. We hope you'll consider staying with us again in the future.

This was our first visit to Boulder and the stay at this hotel was amazing. The hotel has been in business since the early 1900s and the new wind was added in 2007/2008 though has the same design. Very comfortable. I had highly recommend and we will return!
