Hostel is now closed, and building sold. This was the only budget option in Boulder. Denver hostels are all miserable. I had stayed here regularly, over the years. Always in a small private room. The dorms were an overpriced joke. Ron the owner, went out of his way; to be a great innkeeper. Sometimes the place was a little messy.... More

This was the first hostel I ever stayed at and after reading some of the reviews I was very wary of coming. However my stay was very pleasant, I stayed in a dorm room and the room was decent enough and the bathrooms were clean and had lots of toilet paper. Also, I went by myself and I'm a young... More

6/24/12: I was really excited to explore Boulder from the home base of the "international youth hostel" but ended up walking out within the first five minutes of being there. Nowhere on the website does the hotel mention NO air-conditioning. Usually this wouldn't matter but it was literally 102 degrees in Boulder and the whole hostel smelled like human feces.... More

The room was really nice, the windows and the views were great! The location was also very good, was able to walk everywhere I wanted to go. Got to and from the bus without any problems too. My only complaint was the bathrooms. I've seen nicer bathrooms in several third world countries. They were frightening to be honest. I would... More

A bit far from the center, this place has everything you need - nice beds, lots of common showers and WC's, great common area (even with a piano!!!), helpful staff, free internet (the strenght of the wi-fi signal needs an improvement anyway) and free coffee. Doors close at 10PM, you have an access code, dont loose it :)

The office closes at 10:00PM. Wouldn't you know it, I found and caught a bed bug at 1 AM. And of course, there's no late number, so all I could do is leave a message and send an email. This is happening right now, 19 APR 2012. I'm now sitting up, unable to go to sleep, totally creeped out, and... More

Free wifi, free coffee, free phone & newspapers. Helpful desk staff and large comfy sofas. They'd even put up a ton of Christmas lights and a tree. A 2 night visit to Boulder on business turned into a rather pleasant stay. Large room had desk and sunny double aspect with views of snow capped flatirons while I worked. Some of... More

I was intimidated by the negative review here on tripadvisor and decided to checked it out before making the decision about whether to stay or not. It turned out to be much better than many of the negative reviews here so I felt compelled to share my experience. For the location and the price, this is really a nice option.... More

I'm here in this place now, I arrived after an exhausting 7 hour drive hoping to find an inexpensive place to sleep. how could i be completely disappointed with such a simple request? Well this place made it easy to be uncomfortable . If it weren't midnight I would be gone after an hour in this room . There was... More

For lack of other options, I went here. I give it two stars just because it IS the cheapest place in town for a single traveller, but it is not a good value. The house on 13th street that has the single rooms is the dirtiest hostel I've seen (and that's after a year traveling around Asia and Africa). I... More
