Beautiful location, lovely rooms, warm, friendly owners and absolutely delicious home-made breakfasts. This place is a labour of love by its owners and a real find. There are countless little touches which make it a lovely place to stay - whether it’s fresh flowers in all the rooms, boxes of herbal tea in communal spaces, hammocks to lounge about in or two friendly dogs to make a fuss of. Add to that a lovely location in a beautiful rustic village surrounded by rolling hills and forests, one of Poland’s most beautiful rivers a stones’ throw away for kayak trips and lakes made for wild swimming, and you’ll wonder why you’ve been wasting your time going anywhere else. I will definitely be back!

In August 2014 we spent several days in the pension and we can say that we felt very good situated. The rooms are very comfortable, clean and established in a very modern style. The breakfast is breathtaking and we found Kasia and her husband, also Ella absolutely polite and engaged. Thank you for staying at your place.

We enjoyed our time at Gosciniec Szuwary very much. It's a beautiful place, nice and clean rooms, a large garden with a playground for children and enough place to relax. The host family is absolutely friendly and welcoming. We appreciated the wide variety at the breakfast buffet. The advices and tips from the hosts where very helpful. We can recommend this place to anybody, if families or not, seeking a relaxing, friendly place to stay.

Following the recommendation of close friends, we recently spent seven wonderful days at “Gosciniec Szuwary” in Krutyn at the Masurian Lakes. This B&B, just on the edge of Krutyn township and adjacent to a large pine forest, is the creation of Kasia and Maciek, wonderful hosts who have put their heart and soul into creating a warm friendly environment for their guests. We based ourselves here for a holiday of rest, recreation and sightseeing in the Masurian region. The guest accommodation is very tasteful, comfortable and immaculately clean. The place is very quiet, unless you have noisy guests of course. Although we did not have children, it is a wonderful setting for kids with plenty of play area and two very friendly and attentive dogs. We especially enjoyed breakfasts in the separate dining room, where Kasia and Ela attended to our every need from a wide choice of bakery, cereals, fruit, dairy and meat selections accompanied by freshly brewed tea and coffee. They also prepared on order, frankfurts, pancakes, a variety of egg dishes and espresso coffees. One evening, Maciek prepared the open fire BBQ and sharpened the birch limbs for our sausage dinner. This was a wonderful experience for the whole family, sitting around the fire at the bottom of the garden, enjoying a drink, warming ourselves by the fire and eating BBQ’d kielbasa, accompanied by our watchful canine friends Iga and Lola, who stood ready to swoop on any dropped piece of sausage. Walks in the adjacent forest, kayaking on the Krutynia and sumptuous meals in the restaurants nearby, completed an unforgettable experience before our reluctant departure.…

I spent a lovely few days in Szuwary with my kids last July. The inn (B&B) is nestled in a gorgeous corner by the woods and meadows, private, a lovely walk away from the famous Piecki stables where you can ride horses or take riding lessons (with English and German speaking instructors), around a corner from a kayaking depot where you can rent all kinds of equipment and choose from an array of routes on the river Krutynia and connected lakes. The guesthouse itself was tastefully done, comfortable, clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. Pani Kasia is a great hostess and her flower and herb gardens stunning. We had a magical time. I can't wait to go back!

We spent two lovely days here as part of our romantic getaway after getting married. It's an ideal place to rest and relax, or rent bikes and explore the surrounding areas, like we did :) - e.g. Ruciane Nida, Kadzidlowo, the Mokre lake, etc. Rooms are impeccably clean and nicely decorated. Kasia has been very friendly and helpful during our stay. One of the highlights in Szuwary is the beautiful modern glass verandah where you can have some nice breakfast and spend cosy evenings by the fireplace. We would definitely recommend Szuwary as a nice place from where you can truly enjoy the beauty of Mazury and have a relaxing holiday. Seb&Ela

Kasia has built this wonderful B&B from scratch and you can see she has planned it with care. She is charming and speaks excellent English having worked in the UK for a number of years. All the rooms are clean and airy, larger rooms worth going for if you have a chance. The rooms have a Scandinavian feel. Her two little boys playing in the garden add to the relaxed atmosphere. You can walk to the local village where there is a market and a couple of restaurants and on to the lake through the forest. The breakfast was amazing, eggs cooked to order, delicious buffet with homemade jam and loads of different sorts of bread. The breakfast room has a large table where guests meet, perfect for our group trip for a friend's wedding. Kasia only takes cash.

When we arrived at this family run hotel, we were greeted by one of the owners Kasia who could not have been more friendly and welcoming. The building consists of a main house, an outbuilding with bedrooms and another outbuilding where breakfast is served. The buildings are constructed of wood and tiled roofs and are very attractive. Kasia clearly loves her garden and grows her own vegetables. There is a lovely atmosphere and pretty outlook. The rooms are comfortable and clean and each has it's own shower. Kasia herself serves a delicious breakfast and you can have anything from scrambled eggs, continental to home made granola or toast and home made jam. Just a couple of tips: The curtains are quite thin so if you are going there in the summer I would suggest an eye mask if the morning light bothers you! At this point Kasia cannot take card payment - cash only.…
