Highlands Lodge location was perfect for our access to the village for ski school with kids, shopping, eating, etc. Room 209 was perfect for our two families to enjoy comfortably during our stay. We highly recommend using Venture Sports delivery for ski equipment and Resort Delivery for groceries. It was so convenient to have it all come to us.

We have stayed in Highlands Lodge five times for ski trips in January, and have always had a good experience. We love HL 203, as it fits our needs perfectly. (But don't book it the first week of January, because we want it then!! ; ). Actually, being in any unit on the second floor is fabulous because it's the floor where the ski locker is and it saves you a trip on the elevator. Concierge and front desk are very helpful. Little things like access to the locker rooms and pool, and a little coffee/cocoa/snack area are the things that make you feel special too.

We stayed in unit 18 Highlands Lodge on a summer creek to Beaver Creek booked with Vail Accomdations. It was 3 bedroom 3.5 baths and easily accomdated our family of 5 (two adults 3 kids ages 15,13, and 9). Close enough to town center that we walked to and from town daily for dinner and lunch (hike back up is a little workout, but not too bad). The pool was huge, warm, and clean and not very crowded. They were doing some construction on the slopeside building so was a little noisy, but they took money off our cost because of the noise. Word of caution in summer, no AC in these condos, or any building I went to in Beaver Creek, Avon or Edwards. So you will have windows open most of the time. We weren't ever hot really, just word of warning.

Thank you for your review, Clayton. We are glad you enjoyed your vacation with us in Beaver Creek! The pool at the Highlands Lodge is definitely one of our favorites. As you experienced, air conditioning isn't typically a necessity in the mountains, but if you prefer it on your next stay, check out The Ascent as it has air conditioning in all of its residences. We hope to see you again soon!

Overall, the unit was nice, but felt small for 4 adults and two small children. Garage parking was extremely tight and was difficult to maneuver into the parking spaces. The unit needs a BBQ. The kitchen was lacking some basic items such as seasonings, tin foil, storage bags etc which have been provided as other condos we have rented. The pools were very nice.
