This hotel is absolutely phenomenal! Let me start with this, the location is perfect being right in front of beaver creek village and next door to strawberry park express lift. Another amazing thing I love about this place was the service! They are always ready to assist you when you need it and you can definitely tell they are trying. The rooms are very clean and beautiful like the hotel itself. Food was delicious. Would definitely choose to stay here again and I recommend it to all of you.

Great location. Strawberry Park is my favorite part of the mountain and it’s right there. Love the restaurant too. I prefer to be right in the village but it’s close enough, at least it’s not the Westin or Ritz that are miles away. Worth a shot I’d say.

The room was great and the complimentary breakfast was delicious! The hotel is located just across the main ski lifts and next to the Strawberry Lift. The staff is super friendly and very attentive! We all had a great time. By the way, don’t forget try the hotel’s hot chocolate after you hand back your skis and boots .

I hosted a business event at the Osprey. It was one of the most amazing events, and the venue was perfect in every way. The 40 attendees were all very impressed with the venue. It's location was great, as were the food and beverages, the service, the amenities (people even used the spa and hot tub). We were even more lucky to have the most perfect weather and ski conditions the week we were there. We would definitely consider returning to The Osprey.

We had the best time in Beaver Creek. The staff at the Osprey was so friendly and accomodating. The ski valet was awesome. The location is the best- right by both lifts and a quick walk to everything you need in the village. We did have a few problems in our room, but they were immediately addressed and fixed. We had a super early departure and the staff made coffee early for us and had a little to-go package of muffins for us. These little details will not be forgotten. We can't wait to go back- such a great experience at the Osprey!

We visited the Osprey in early January 2023. Having stayed at many ski hotels and condos over the years, we can truly say that the experience staying at the Osprey was among the top ski vacation experiences ever. Why? - Staff: The staff was wonderful, from the front desk to the restaurant to the Ski Valet. Hats off to Trent for his warm, welcoming and attending service at the ski valet and Danielle for her hard work in the breakfast area. - Location: Other reviews mention the proximity to the Strawberry Park Express lift (10 feet!), but some fail to mention the 2 minute walk to the Centennial Lift. The location is central to all skiing at Beaver Creek and it’s effortless to get on the mountain and back in at the end of the day. President Ford’s (the ski run to the hotel) is rated a black, but skis as a blue when groomed, so there are multiple options for all levels near the hotel. The central location makes it easy to ski the resort from end to end on any day. I might dispute their claim of the closest lift in North America (see the Grand Hyatt / Cascade at Vail), but who cares - great either way. - The location is also great for walking into Beaver Creek Village for restaurants and shops. 2 minutes just across the street. - The hotel: First, I’ll mention the staff again because they created a fantastic small hotel experience. If you want a zoo, stay at the Park Hyatt. If you want a great stay without the craziness of crowds but all the ski amenities, choose the Osprey. The hotel is not brand new, but appears well maintained. The lobby feeds into the restaurant/bar area, which are more of a central place to congregate than a traditional restaurant. Seating is open all day to wander out and sit at tables or by the fireplace. Guests were lingering around the friendly bar area at all times, whether they were drinking alcoholic beverages, dining or having hot chocolate from the area they set up each day with marshmallows, chocolate and graham crackers (can you say s’mores hot chocolate after skiing!). Rooms were more than adequate - not exceptional but well outfitted, well maintained and attractive. Bedding was great and the in-room fireplace was a nice touch. Daily housekeeping was great (I read elsewhere that they were not doing daily service - this must have been during the height of COVID). Robes were provided and were nicely sized and of good quality. No microwave but they provided in-room coffee station (Kerrigan for better or worse) and a small refrigerator. But you really didn’t need the in-room coffee or a kitchenette. The staff knows they have east coasters among the visitors and complimentary fresh coffee and tea we available in the lobby area each morning starting at 5:30AM. Prepare for strong coffee! Included breakfast was open each morning starting at 7AM - a nice cross section of cost breakfast options including cereals, cheeses, yogurts, breads, fruits, etc. Some prior reviews mentioned a charge - that appears to be in the past. The pool / hot tub area are nice - compact but private enough with plenty of space. Unfortunately the pool was closed as our second day due to a broken pipe - disappointing but I can’t really blame the hotel. We did use it the first ski day and I can confirm that when they say hot tub they mean HOT - it was definitely 106-108 degrees. Ski Valet: GREAT service. Ski boots are placed on dryers each night so they are dry and toasty as you head out each morning. Skis are stored for you and placed out by the lift when you are ready to go. Breakfast bars, hand warmers, other incidentals were offered when needed. And the hot chocolate … there were actually 2 people that weren’t even staying at the hotel that were brazen enough to camp in the seating area drinking the complimentary hot chocolate. Several ski rental options are available within a 5 minute walk. Parking: Limited and included in room. They were valet only, which served to make the experience that much better. Staff were responsive to our few requests for the car. Dining: Beaver Creek Village is full of solid restaurants. We enjoyed the Chop House (2 minute walk), Allie’s Cabin (‘sleigh’ ride up after a mandatory Hot Toddy :-) ), and loved the experience at Grouse Mountain Grill. For Grouse Mountain Grill there is a 10 minute lovely walk back across a cat trail. Many other options abound without having to get in your car, but you’re 10 minutes from Avon if you desire. I’m not usually so effusive, but we had a great 5 night experience that felt more like a stay in a European ski hotel than the typical US location. If our travels permit Beaver Creek to come back in the rotation, we will not hesitate in any way to stay at the Osprey again. Thank you for a great visit!

We’re hesitant to write this review because we want to keep the Osprey all to ourselves! What an exceptional experience! We just completed a week ski vacation at the Osprey and were incredibly impressed. The staff are superb. To a person, they were friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to assist us. The most common answer to any question we asked them was, “Of course!” The ski valets were amazing and always ready to help with our skis and boots. The housekeeping staff, front desk staff, breakfast buffet staff and everyone else were lovely. Our rooms were cozy and comfortable and the proximity to the ski mountain—- unreal. Walking out the back door and on to a ski lift means so much more skiing every day! Overall- a great property with great staff. Can’t wait to return!

If you are a skier or boarder this really is THE PLACE to stay at Beaver Creek. I read through all the reviews before I booked, and they are accurate. Between the incredibly close proximity to the lifts (both Strawberry and Centennial), and to the village of Beaver Creek, this place has "location" nailed. In addition, the staff, all around, was truly the best I have experienced. I say this having traveled extensively for business for over 30 years so I am a tough critic. Everything really and truly exceeded my expectations. I absolutely loved my room, which overlooked the slopes and the lift, and the next time I visit the Osprey I will definitely request the same room. Please note that I am an early riser. If one likes to sleep late then perhaps request a room on the side opposite the lift (although then you don't get to watch the skiers come down the slopes right outside your window - I loved doing that). I'd like to give a special call out to both of the ski valets - so incredible! So knowledgeable about the ski conditions every day with great recommendations on where to go to get the best snow. And just so helpful - every time I needed them they seemed to magically appear, ready to help. The perfect balance of service and discretion. Very hard to do. But every staff member at the Osprey while I was there really was incredible. It's clear to me that everyone who works there takes an incredible sense of pride and ownership in their work and in the hotel. Well done, all! I can't wait to come back!

A resort is a reflection of the staff and the culture that they create. Cat (front desk), Ian (bartender), Ricardo (Valet), Sam (Ski valet) were all incredibly fantastic making us feel at home and special. Look no further for your stay, love this place and we will be back. The rooms were fantastic, the access to the lifts and village were incredible and the overall experience (from people who live in CO and have been to almost all the resorts) was top notch! Take it from us, this is THE PLACE to stay.
