We recommend a stay at Poste Montane for anyone looking for a weekend getaway in a comfortable and luxurious accommodation. Celebrating our 20th anniversary, the staff went out of their way to make us feel special. With COVID on the rise, we were concerned about crowds and shared spaces, but the accommodation was very private.

When you see this is the 3rd highest recommended specialty lodging in Beaver Creek, you may be expecting Ritz Carlton level luxury. Foolishly, I did. What we got was what my wife described as "your European grandmother's place." In other words, neat, quirky bordering on eccentric, and not necessarily welcoming. Let's start with what's good: The bed is fab. I could do without the etched mirrored headboard (did I say eccentric?), but the bed is really really comfy. Love the plumbing fixtures, especially the elaborate old-fashioned faucet in the tub. I also love the access to hot tubs and pools over at the Park Hyatt (don't make a mistake of trying to use the pools at the Hyatt Residence across the street. Oh, the looks I got.) The hot tub and steam rooms in the Poste were

The resort is in a great location overlooking the ice rink and all the activities going on. The fire pits were a delightful addition and provided a relaxing place to enjoy the area and meet people. Sitting around them in the evening was delightful.

Free Parking, nice breakfast every morning with hot and cold items such as eggs and sausages and cereals, breads and fruit. Location was great right in Beaver Creek Ski Village. Our room overlooked the ice skating rink which in the summer converts to an entertainment area with bands and activities. We were very close to everything. The hotel and rooms are decorated as though they were from 1950s Bavaria.

We stayed in 407 which is a small room here. I loved it the minute I stepped into the room! An entire half-wall of windows with plantation shutters and windows that open all the way - fabulous in summer. This room is not on the courtyard side - so wonderfully quiet and we slept with windows wide open so it was cool even in August. Everything impeccably clean and neat. Robes, fridge, wood-burning fireplace (which we didn't use in summer,) coffee/bar space, ceiling fan, lots of wood moulding which must be painted frequently because it looked pristine. Did I say clean? Linens both crisp and soft. Room was completely remade, linens, towels, complete fluff up after 4 days - terrific cleaning staff! Breakfast was wonderful every day with printed daily rotating menu. It really feels

Free breakfast, parking and in house laundry services. Access to the Hyatt’s (next door) pool (can order drinks and food) and fitness center (awesome facilities). Friendly staff and incredibly helpful. Rooms had HBO and cable for downtime with kids, small fridge for food and cool mist humidifiers for the dry air and to serve as a fan (no AC in rooms). The location is great and in close proximity to a small store with everything you need, the activities courtyard, and is at the center of the Beaver Creek village. 5-10 minute walks to several trailheads and lifts. I highly recommend this place for family and group trips.

We stayed for 6 nights in a two room, two bathroom apartment. Very well provisioned and comfortable. The staff are great. Front desk very professional. The breakfast service, considering COVID requirements, was brilliant and the food delicious. We used the Hyatt spa facilities (fitness room and hot tub) every day - very nice bonus for staying at Poste Montane. Definitely stay there when we visit BC again 😎

I always live to visit the Poste Montane. The service is excellent. The location can't be beat! The rooms are beautiful! I love having a fireplace in my room. I always ask for a room looking out over the court yard!

Great staff, friendly and attentive. During Covid-19 it has been a challenge to decide staying in a resort. The Poste Montane made us feel safe from the beginning with everything being contactless. Breakfast service was wonderful, Nima and Martin were delightful as they prepared our breakfast each day. The social distancing was maintained throughout our stay. Our unit was clean upon check and there was hand sanitizer where you might need it. The location is the best walking distance to the mountain, right in the heart of the village with shops, restaurants and ice skating. Parking is within an heated garage that is included in your rate not an additional charge like so many properties.
