Our family of 4 had the best vacation at Lone Wolf Cabins. We staying in the fishing lodge which was the perfect size for our family. It was cozy and had everything we needed. The beds were so comfortable. A country store next door. A restaurant/bar across the street. It was decorated for the holiday which made it even more special. We were nervous Texans not used to driving in snowy mountains. I assure you the roads are plowed and the owners shoveled our steps daily and used their snow blower to clear our path as we got 2 feet of snow, which was BEAUTIFUL. Perfect location to get to so many fun activities. Communication with hosts when booking, prior to arrival and while we were guests was impeccable. We would highly reccomend Lone Wolf Cabins. There are a lot of places to stay in this area but we can't wait to return to Lone Wolf Cabins it was really a great getaway!!

This place was amazing in cabin 3 they have a wood-burning stove and a nice friendly environment. They were so kind to us and the kitchen everything we could ask for. the pantry was stocked with pancake mix oatmeal syrup and an assortment of delicious teas. The woodstove was already pre-made with kindling and logs there were even instructions on how to light with the pinecone and operate it! A country store next door selling delicious ice cream and the restaurant next door was amazing. The lake was love but still beautiful! We hiked into the Wiminchue Wilderness for an evening hike in an impressive granite Gorge. We then had a delicious dinner at the lodge across the street from Lone Wolf cabins and getaway.

Great place to stay with cute, warmly decorated furnishings. The owners are friendly and always available to offer advice about the area or cut more firewood. They even went so far as to mail us belongings we left behind! highly recommend staying here. The only negative is that we did not get to stay long enough!! We will definitely be back!

Our family spent News Years week at Lone Wolf Cabins and had a blast! Danielle and Marc are amazing people and go out of their way to make sure their guests have a great time. Our cabin was clean and cozy. We will definitely be back! There is also a great little restaurant and bar across the street and lots of local activities to keep you busy.

Lone Wolf Cabins & Getaway was an incredible cabin experience. My wife and I went there for our first anniversary. We both come from places with snow in the winter, but now live in a desert climate, so we were happy to see some snow on the ground when we arrived. The cabins were perfectly cozy, and they had all the amenities for us when we arrived. I would definitely recommend staying here, and I would likely go again.

We enjoyed our stay in our cabin tremendously! Very cute split level cabin. The windows were big and you could see so much. It was very clean and provided everything you needed. The location was everything described. We loved it.

This place is outstanding. Clean cabins, comfortable beds, everything you might possibly need. We just got back today from a relaxing, mind resetting 4 days. Enjoyed my stay. I am very ocd-ish and i didn't have any panic or anxiety issues. I felt so at home there. Planning my next trip. We were in cabin 1, the fishing cabin. (I couldn't included pictures, to big i guess)

We came for a long weekend away and what a wonderful surprise. This place was more than we expected. Cozy and welcoming. The owners are so kind, and as warm and friendly as you could hope for. We were so happy we chose to come here and we WILL be back. It's clean, it's got everything you could possibly need or want. I recommend the Lone Wolf very highly.

Great place to stay. Was very quiet and very relaxing. If you need internet they use starlink which is very fast. There was enough room for all 8 of us in the Bear Den Cabin. It was close to Vallecito Lake and a restaurant right across the street.
