We've planned two family reunions here and it's been wonderful both times. The free use of kayaks, paddle boards and a canoe really makes it fun for everyone. We played pool in the main lodge, swam in the lake, took horse trail rides and biked around the area - it's gorgeous. The cabins are very comfortable and clean and the... More

My family and I wanted to try something different this year.. It was the best decision we could of made! We had cabin #5. It's for 6 people. The cabin was fully furnished, even had body and hand soaps. The kitchen was fully stocked right down to the dish soap, all you needed was food. They have a communal fire... More

This is going to be a long review, but it's needed so let's be honest shall we? I love so many things about Elk Point Lodge & Cabins. Owners are very friendly and accommodating. Guests can use the canoe, kayaks, & paddle boards for free. The fishing bank on the property is fantastic. We visited the water & fishing area... More

We stayed there for a week in June of 2016. Can't say enough about the location and the place. The owners are wonderful and they run a tight ship. They have horses on site for rides and they were in great shape and were very happy animals. We had a great time and will be back next year

This was the 3rd reunion we've had here. And as always, we had the best weekend! Perfect getaway. It's like a little step up from camping in a tent. Campfires, FREE kayak & canoe rentals for guests, basic amenities in kitchen for meals, and so much more. I see people complaining the WiFi is only in the main lodge.... Who... More

Just booked our second trip to the Elk Point Lodge. We stayed last summer and had a blast. We rented 5 separate cabins (they have cabins to suit different size families) The largest one is great for hosting dinners. Beautiful location right on the lake. Cabins are rustic which makes it fun. Highly recommend for family get away.

If you want silence, and water, and horses, and a friendly staff, go to Elk Point. Their is lake access, and the walk down to Los Pinos River is pretty fine too. You can use their canoe and kayaks free of charge. Lark and the staff are friendly as family.

Fantastic break from hotels. It was truely a delightful surprise. We want to return soon. Our service was over the top. It was more than anyone could have anticipated. The views were spectacular! Wonderful places to eat close by. Also if you have your own food, there is a kitchenette. It has a full stove, refridgerator, microwave, and table and... More

Cabins! not a motel--so expect awesome woods, clean air, and a rustic feel. Still, for a "cabin", the one I stayed in had great amenities (large fridge, functional kitchen equipment, nice TV, etc.), amazing views of the lake, and new-looking porch furniture. The cabin was very clean inside. Tasteful furnishings plus plenty of space for putting my small children in... More
