Award winning Harkey House Bed and Breakfast is an elegant historical 1874 Victorian inn and the original home of Sheriff William Harkey, of Sutter County. It is located near a the Sutter Buttes, Gauche Aquatic Park, Feather River, restaurants and a 10 minute walk to the downtown area. There are 3 rooms and a cottage with private entrance. Marble fireplaces and all queen beds, private baths, WIFI, private outdoor spa, high count linens, TV,CD, and plush robes. Relax on the patio or in the privacy of your room. The cottage is pet friendly. Enjoy a full gourmet breakfast prepared with fresh fruit from our local Farmer's Market. Dishes are prepared with those with special food needs and served in the French Country dining room or poolside on the patio. Special Romance packages with silk rose petals on the bed, chocolates and champagne are available for purchase. "Voted the Best B and B" for five years.

I searched Google for an old historical hotel for my visit to Yuba City, California, I found the Harkey House, a beautifully restored and well taken care of hotel from 1874 the owners made my stay soo comfortable, the room was so cozy and quiet the breakfast served was homemade and delicious! So this is a perfect place to be when visiting Yuba City, California

I recently attended my 55th high school class reunion in Marysville. When I am in the Yuba Sutter area I always stay at the amazing Harkey House Bed and Breakfast. I have stayed in all their lovely rooms but on this visit I stayed in their beautiful cozy cottage that overlooks a gorgeous patio and pool! The cottage is beautifully decorated with a full kitchen. Bob and Lee are always the perfect hosts that see to your every need! I highly recommend this amazing bed and breakfast!

Came to the area to attend sessions at West Coast Falconry and was delighted with my three-night stay. Hosts Lee and Bob have created a lovely and peaceful home with relaxing rooms and beautifully landscaped grounds. The breakfasts were great and filled with lively conversation. They easily accommodated me with breakfast "to go" on mornings with an early start. This will be my go-to lodging for any trips to the area! Thank you for such an enjoyable experience.

This review is a few months late and I apologize to Bob and Lee for the delay! We stayed here in March as it we were visiting the west coast falconry team. We had two rooms and they were beautifully decorated, spacious and the beds were so comfortable. My family went for a vacation and my mom is battling cancer and they could not have been more accommodating, nice and understanding. They gave us nearby suggestions of restaurants that we could go too and things to check out around town. My sister and I always had to wake up very early and they packed us snacks since we had to miss out on breakfast. Overall great stay we would highly recommend and hope to be back! We also enjoyed the hot tub as it was too chilly for the pool. Thank you for your hospitality.

I was in town from Florida visiting my daughter and her family who are stationed at Beale AFB. What a great find! Bob and Lee were great hosts. The Harkey House is clean, clean, CLEAN! Beds and pillows great. If I'm ever back in the area, I'll definitely stay at the Harkey House.

My partner and I had a wonderful stay and we wish we could’ve had so many more nights! Bob and Lee were welcoming and very thoughtful. We had a relaxing night in the spa, our bed was a dream, and the food was delicious!! (Ask for the lavender scones).

We enjoyed the best courtesy and companionship during our stay at the Harkey House in Yuba City, Ca. This is our second occasion to stay at this B&B and will certainly return.
