After getting a confirmation for the wrong date we got that corrected only to check in and be told our site was too far from the router to get internet. We asked if we could move they set us to B1 but we’re not sure if it was a good site. There was an unattended dog across the street barking incessantly. I walked to the office they just closed locked the door and stopped answering the phone. For a rate was 61.00 per night I expected better!
This GS park does not follow the guide lines from GS. When I asked about my dicount, I was informed that this park doesn't give any discounts. Also, either the owner or worker left their dog off leash, which is againts park rules. Lastly, there rules states that no bus conversions are allowed, but there was small bus in this park.
Arrived at 4:56 and asked if I could see the spots before deciding. The daughter of what appeared to be a mother daughter team abruptly said they closed at 5 and if I wasn't back it'd be too late. I said it looks like I won't be able to have time. She smugly said nope, probably not - as she put away her little form. Note to business owner. That lemming uncaring attitude just lost you a sale, any repeat business and gained the Friendly RV park (with an awesome view right at the base of the mountain) a positive review. They live up to their name!
Park is sufficient for RV’ers. Not fancy but nice view. A little too much dog poop in our space. Quiet. May not be quiet for long. A truck travel center is being built right next door. Good restaurant choices in town. I’d recommend.
Stopped here for one night on our way South. Easy access to I 5 and nice long pull throughs with FHU. Town is close for shopping and dining. I would stay here again. It is close to Mt Shasta and has a nice view of the mountains from our site C 5.
We recently stayed here on a recent rv road trip. It is clean and has full hook ups. There are pull throughs. It has cable tv and wifi. You can stay here by the day, week, or month. The office is clean and staff is nice.
Great changes have been made to this park since we last stayed here. Paula and Scott are attentive, and on the spot to help. Great On/Off freeway stop. Beautiful views. Rates are great for our company guys! Really like to stay here.
Staying for one night in our 34 foot motorhome and towing a car. We were given Site C2. Great pull-through. Full hook ups, plus cable TV. We paid $43.68 (included taxes) for one night. Spindly trees at the sites, but maybe they bloom and are fuller later than April, when we were here. Didn't use their restrooms or laundry room, but I like the fact that they have codes to get into them. Lady in the office was very nice and helpful. I've been told they changed owners in Nov. 2017. We have a strong wi-fi signal and we seem to have good water pressure. Would like to come back again to stay longer and see the town and the area a bit more.
Clean and well maintained. Full hookups and cable, but we didn’t have a cable and neither did the office. It would have been nice if they had a loaner. We didn’t want to unhook so we’re not able to use that amenity. Location is too far to walk to anything.
