First off, I highly recommend booking a trip now and capitalizing on the privacy and white glove service you get with the low crowds. Vintage House takes all the precautions and makes you feel safe and comfortable. So, my wife and I have been going to Yountville since 2005. It's our special weekend getaway that we splurge on once a year. With COVID fatigue hitting the home (we have 3 wonderful children) we decided to get away for one day in the mid week. We reviewed all the places available and booked Vintage House for a Thursday night - (the Loft is worth it). We arrived and were warmly greeted by Emmanuel. He was safe, friendly and made us feel like the place was open just for us. Emmanuel gave us an overview of what do you, who was open and how to enjoy Yountville and Vintage House during shutdown. Everything was perfect. All his recommendations were spot on, and the pool side service was the cherry on top. At the end of the stay, he gave us a tour of Villagio's newly designed grounds and rooms. We ended with a walk through of the Villa for an upcoming event (My wife's 40th). We are now going to book the Villa in April. We have stayed at Bardassano, Hotel Yountville, Auberge, Villagio (pre-remodel), Archer, Calistoga Ranch and many other hotels in the Valley. They are all great, but the environment, vibe and catered experience you get when Emmanuel is running the show is hands down the best. We will stay loyal to Vintage House and Villagio as our go-to for years to come. Cant wait for our event at the Villa. Also excited to stay in room 103 of Villagio next year. Emmanuel, you're passion for the area and assurance that your guests have the best experience is wonderful - you love your job. Thank you for getting rid of COVID blues and making this our best Yountville trip ever. Next time you are in Napa, stop by Vintage House or Villagio and ask for Emmanuel. Tell him you read this review and The Rocca's sent you. He will make sure you do Yountville right.…
The staff took very good care of us all while remaining cognizant of social distancing. The pool was open, but very few people and everyone stayed at least 10ft apart. We had an upstairs king room (307) and it was perfect for 2. Everything felt clean and safe. The bathroom was lovely with a large step in shower with 2 shower heads. We also enjoyed lounging on the small couch on the deck. We had a fantastic time.
My wife and I spent four nights at this beautiful hotel and gorgeous Yountville. It is amazingly located within walking distance to many great restaurants. Unfortunately, everything was closed except for some restaurants doing takeout because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Every room has a wood-burning fireplace, so we ensconced ourselves in our beautiful room and had great food from several restaurants that we either picked up, or had delivered. A couple of minor issues that I experienced. There is a $50 resort fee and they add tax to that. So, in reality it is a $60 resort fee which is outrageous in this time of Covid where everything is shut down. The restaurant was shut down in the hotel, the spa was shut down, so, it was almost insulting The charges that. Also, I would love real firewood, instead of those fake logs you buy at the supermarket that were provided. There is nothing better than the smell of firewood on a cold winter night. Overall, this is a very beautiful property and I would love to visit again when the pandemic is over.…
We have stayed multiple times at VH. Our last visit was disappointing with room accommodation. Our room had a hole in the bathroom door that was plastered and painted over, the blinds would not close all the way and we were on the first floor, and on Sunday morning they had the leaf blower going at 6am by the pool to clean the leaves. The front desk staff is helpful and the location is amazing. We have stayed here multiple times just not sure it’s worth the cost for just the location. We are headed back to Yountville in January 21’ and are thinking about checking out another hotel this time around.
My wife and I and two friends stayed there for our 20th anniversary. The property and rooms are elegant and perfectly maintained. The front desk staff could not be nicer or more helpful. The made-to-order breakfast is excellent and hot chocolate and marshmallows are available throughout the day. It is steps away from French Laundry and Bouchon Bakery, and near tons of great wineries. When the county closed everything down, the hotel graciously cancelled and refunded our last night. Can't wait to visit again.
