Friendly staff and owner - meticulous property - incredibly convenient; walkable to Yountville restaurants and shops. The proprieter is very bike friendly -- allowing bikes in rooms and providing ice and filtered water. I missed the breakfast, which is only 8:30-9:30. I would go back in an instant!

In 2010, we stayed at the Bordeaux House and it has not changed since that time. We do like staying here as it is quite reasonable for Yountville and very well located on a beautiful corner lot with superb landscaping. It is just lovely. We stayed in the Rose Room and our friends stayed next door in the Riesling Room.... More

Yountville has become somewhat of an "in" place to stay. Therefore, the lodgings in the city are pricey to say the least. The Bordeaux House is a relatively reasonably priced alternative -- relative to inns and hotels which would charge twice as much. We stayed in the Chablis Room, which is one of the largest rooms, including a walk in... More

A great location in Yountville, with wineries in every direction. Breakfasts were wonderful, both hot and cold offerings. Yes, a bit noisy and the shower in the top room was cozy but overall the rooms are fine. Beds great. Located about 100 yards fom the French Laundry so after a fabulous dinner you don't have to drive anywhere.

While the location of this place is nothing short of fantastic, it is in desperate need of a significant update. We stayed for four nights, and the chief problems were: - Inadequate air conditioning - REALLY uncomfortable beds - Not enough accessible power outlets in the room - Noise. No insulation in the windows or doors meant every car the... More

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying here twice, our most recent visit was this past February. You could not ask for a better location - in the heart of Yountville and walking distance to some of the best restaurants in the area. The rooms are very comfy, decorated with mostly antiques, with all the amenities you would... More

This is one of the few (relatively) affordable accomodations in Yountville, which is an unbelievably overpriced town. Yountville is so perfect it looks fake and apart from restaurants there's nothing to do/see. Next time we go to Napa we will stay in a different town. The location is very central, 2 mins walking distance from the French Laundry (which we... More

This little place was the biggest surprise, of our week trip, up the California coast. My wife and I were celebrating our 32nd wedding anniversary and our last stop was beautiful Napa Valley. A quick look at Trip Adviser helped us pick this little gem. The rooms are all different and quite well appointed. The fireplace was a nice touch.... More

We have just returned from our third stay of five nights at the Bordeaux House because we enjoy it so much! Jean, the innkeeper, and her assistant, Carmen, are wonderful. Jean prepares buffet breakfast with a different hot egg and meat dish every morning at 8:30. She also serves her homemade granola, as well as yogurt, fresh cut fruit, bagels,English muffins, preserves, juices, hard boiled... More

My favorite small town of Yountville is fantastic for strolling the streets and vineyards, shopping and EATING AND DRINKING WINE. The world famous French Laundry is just steps from the Bordeaux House. This B&B only has about 6 rooms and is the best bargain in Napa Valley. The rooms are a little dated, but what a location. I like to... More
