Everyone I encountered throughout my stay was super lovely, from check-in to turn down service. Everything went smoothly, which is exactly what I needed after a crazy week at work. I arrived early in the morning and was able to park my car before meeting up with my family for a decadent lunch at a nearby restaurant. As soon as I settled my bill at the restaurant, I bid adieu to my family and went straight to the spa. The spa was great. I got a massage, which was divine. I actually fell asleep on the table. Then after the massage, I took a shower in the spa area and, for the first time in my life used the steam function. I need a steam shower in my life now, it won’t happen, but I still need it. Finally, I was able to settle into my room. It was just so peaceful, that I immediately took the second nap of my visit to Hotel Yountville. My room was what I aspire my home to look like if I was organized enough and motivated enough to hire an interior designer, it was just so lovely. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was really nicely styled, the robes were cozy, what else could I ask for? Oh, I’ll tell you, the fancy chocolates that they give you at turndown. I almost declined them, but the women who knocked on my door for turndown suggested that I take them. Good advice. Bottom line, I loved it and will be back.

Hotel Yountville was exquisite. The subtle elegance was refreshing and so appreciated. I loved every minute of our stay. The rooms were so clean and comfortable. The common areas and restaurant was a joy to visit. The employees are top notch. This is a must on your Napa list!! Will stay here again.

Perfect spot to unwind after full days of wine tours. Spacious and clean, our room was a drive up. It was a matter of steps from our car to the room without a motel feel. A light breakfast was included each morning. This was granola covered yogurt with fruit and croissants. Coffee and tea as well. The pool area was intimate and private.

We wanted to stay close to downtown but not right in the middle of things, and the Hotel Yountville worked fine. We booked through American Express Hotel Collections, and got an upgrade to a larger room. The rooms were quiet and comfortable. The bathroom was huge with dual sinks, a large tub, and a large shower stall. We had hot breakfasts on two days, which were fine. The room included a continental breakfast, which had one of the best hotel croissants I've ever had outside of France.

We were in room 802 on ground level, nice layout or room and large bathroom. Fireplace and patio are great amenities. Having a jetted tub and large walk in shower a plus. Only drawback is no door to the main bathroom area in the event someone is sleeping in and someone trying to dress. Potty area does have a door.

We stayed for just one night at this really lovely spot in Yountville. Although the town lacks any reason to stay more than a day, I love that the hotel offered bicycles that could be used on the bike trail thats right next to the hotel grounds. You could ride for miles on it past gardens and vineyards. The hotel is in a convienent location for visiting some suburb wineries. The room was fantastic, and the complimentary breakfast was so good.

We had a lovely 5 night stay at Hotel Yountville. Our "Premium King" room was spacious, with a fireplace, sitting area and desk, outside private patio, and a very spacious bathroom with separate shower and soaking tub and a makeup area. The furnishings were all in good condition and very nice. The pool area was nice, with a separate in-ground hot tub, bar and fire feature. We enjoyed breakfast each morning at the restaurant - the staff were lovely and quick to respond to any request. The front desk staff were helpful and friendly - all of the people we encountered always had a smile and greeting for us. The location is excellent - in walking distance to many tasting rooms and great restaurants. It its on the more expensive end of the hotel range, but we definitely felt like we got good value for what we paid.

After attending Bottlerock in Napa we decided to book an extended honeymoon in Yountville to do some wine tasting. Overall we had a really great experience at the Hotel Yountville. The property is beautiful, the rooms were luxurious and the pool area was super relaxing but the housekeeping team really needs work. We specifically had TWO issues with them. GOOD (Overall Experience) - Elley the concierge booked ALL of our winery tours and tastings and created our itinerary for us. it was basically perfect! - they took some deliveries from amazon on our behalf and had them ready for us upon arrival - we had a rental car and were able to park right in front of our room so it was very convenient - the property is located at the end of the main drag so it was nice to be able to walk to and from all of the tasting rooms and restaurants in Yountville BAD (Housekeeping) - one night after dinner we came back to our room and our door was WIDE open. It's not like housekeeping was in the middle of cleaning, there was no one around. we called down to the front desk to let them know and they were attentive, looked at the log of entry in our room and said housekeeping had been there less than 30 minutes earlier, thankfully nothing was missing but it's still super unsettling as it only takes seconds for a crime of opportunity. they sent up a bottle of wine for the 'inconvenience' - to add insult to injury on the previous incident, we got back to our room after being out at the wineries all day and grabbed a bottle of water from the fridge. the day before we had spent $150 in meats, cheeses and accoutrements from Gary's market for us to snack on and when housekeeping was replenishing the water bottles in the fridge they didn't close the refrigerator door all the way (seeing a trend here?) so all of our meats and cheeses spoiled. obviously we were not happy about this and called down again to the front desk to let them know. Other than housekeeping really needing to pay better attention with closing doors we had a great time and will probably be back to stay again!

Thank you for your feedback. I am glad you enjoyed your Bottlerock weekend and honeymoon. I will make sure to recognize Elley for her contributions to your experience. I sincerely apologize for the lack of attentiveness shown by the housekeeping team. I will absolutely address your concern to ensure it is not repeated. Thank you again for experiencing Napa Valley with us and for your helpful feedback.

This hotel is heavenly! Rooms and facilities are gorgeous and the location is fantastic. Right in downtown Yountville where you can walk to all of the excellent restaurants, pastry shops and boutiques. They have a driver that will also drop you off or pick you up wherever you wish to go. The pool is in a pretty little courtyard with cabana beds surrounding it so you don’t have to stake out chairs. It is a fabulous place to enjoy an afternoon after wine tasting. The concierge will help set up and plan your day with tasting and restaurant reservations so you can just tell them places you would like to visit and they figure it out for you. Absolutely fantastic. This is our favorite place to go and we highly recommend it!

Had a four day, three night stay at Hotel Yountville. Previously, I stayed near by at the Bardessono. Here are my thoughts: The service at the hotel is bar none. Special thanks to Karen at the front desk who went above and beyond to make our stay special. The entire staff from Nick to the spa staff to the house cleaning staff were just extraordinary. The premium room photographs much better than the actual room. It's large with a 4 poster King Size bed, massive bathroom, and even a small balcony with table and chairs. The problem is that the balcony overlooks a housing community, so it's not very pretty. The room was pretty run down, as I explained to the hotel. Stains on all the furniture, all the wood was nicked, and someone thought a faux stucco design in the private toilet was a good idea. It just looks cheap, like a road side motel. If you consider the layout to the whole property you get the impression this was maybe a roadside motel that received a major five star facelift. All of the rooms face a common parking lot, like you would get at a road side motel. Turn down service every night comes with local chocolate. Free grab and go breakfast is much better than the actual menu breakfast. We had to send one of our plates back because the hot food was cold. I shared my observations and concerns with the hotel and like I mentioned earlier, they went above and beyond to ensure the rest of our stay was stellar. We spent very little time in the room, so in the end, the problems really didn't matter. I'm sorry to say, though, next time I will be going back to the Bardessono. Much more luxurious for the same price.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback of your recent stay at HY. I am glad you enjoyed the location and service provided. I am sorry you didn't like the view from your building or the condition of the room. We were scheduled for a significant room rejuvenation prior to the pandemic and we are in the early stages of re-starting that project. Please stay tuned! I have shared your feedback to the culinary team as we are always looking for opportunities to improve our menu and quality. Thank you again for you stay with us and for the feedback. We hope you consider staying with us when your travels bring you back.
