The North Block is the kind of place you only hear about from an in-the-know friend. If you like flashy, look elsewhere. This place is quiet luxury at its best, with zero pretense. Every detail tended to, but nothing fussy or formulaic. The team takes such good care of you from the moment you arrive (but they’re also cool, so you kind of just want to hang out with them). Has a lovely restaurant on site, or easily walkable to all the spots in downtown Yountville. But really you won’t want to leave, even for a few hours. It’s a quiet/low key atmosphere, best for couples or very small groups. I’d honestly rather not share all this, because I don’t want anybody else to find out about this place. But now you know. Please use the information responsibly.

Such an absolute joy to stay at fromthe moment of arrival to our departure, everything was perfect. Everything was clean, staff was plesant, helpfull, accomidating and a delight to see. Location was perfect close to everything and walkable to near by resturants and shops. Spa was relaxing perfect. Everything lived up to expectations and is highly recomended.

Amazing experience ! They spoil you here! Beautiful small hotel right on the main thoroughfare close to everything. Fresh baked breakfast delivered to our room each morning, champagne and wine upon arrival, fires at night. Beyond lovely! Would stay again!

We had such a lovely time at North Block Hotel. My husband and I wanted a quiet escape for the night to celebrate the 30th anniversary of our engagement, and North Block was perfect. The customer service was exceptional--everyone was friendly and warm (especially in the midst of all the storms we've been having)--special shout-out to Christian at the front desk who gave us a warm welcome, Kalem the bellman who showed us around our room with pride and good humor, and Bailey, who brought us a beautiful breakfast tray in the pouring rain. And yes the bed was amazing! We were also able to walk to Bouchon easily. A really wonderful escape. Thank you!

We've been staying at North Block for years. Probably one of the best service and quality hotels we've been at. And at a great price point. Every one of the staff is super friendly and helpful. All the rooms and the grounds are immaculate. Highly recommend. Looking forward to our next visit :)

Charming, boutique hotel with cozy, comfortable rooms. North Block ticks all the boxes. Perfect location, lovely staff (thank you to Davis who helped us at check in and Hillary, the GM), comfortable beds, a pool, gym and a restaurant with a full bar. Did I mention the beds?? They are divine! The included breakfast was wonderful. The hotel has bikes you can use to explore the town. Can't wait to return for another stay at North Block next time we are in town :)

This hotel is fantastic! A small boutique hotel in the heart of Yountville, less than a 10 minute walk to The French Laundry and downtown. The staff at the hotel are welcoming, friendly and are invested in their guest's comfort and satisfaction. The rooms are well appointed, comfortable and relaxing. The bathroom towels and bed linens are of excellent quality and the bed is very cozy and inviting. A great hotel experience.
