Just returned from 3 nights at Hotel Villagio. Everything was perfect. Staff were all amazing. Location could not be better. The concierge Stan was very helpful in making our dinner and winery reservations. He had recommendations that we did not know about and they were all great. Can't wait to return!
My wife and I stayed at Hotel Villagio on Nov 17-20 for a couples trip and had a stellar weekend. The property is located in the heart of downtown Yountville (complete with Thomas Keller's Regiis Ova lounge literally across the street - worth it - along with the French Laundry and Bouchon less than a 5 minute walk down the street. This was the best experience we've had in Napa - walkable to everything Yountville has to offer, and easy to get to all of Napa's wineries. We preferred it to Meadowood from earlier this fall. The service was top notch ( ownership has changed recently), room service took less than 15 minutes for a quick lunch after we arrived, and the hotel stocks complimentary snacks and drinks seemingly everywhere - both in the lobby and rooms. Staff was highly attentive without being overbearing, basic things like doors, bags, lobby staff offering drinks, etc. were anticipated. The after dinner bar scene was lively in a good way, and we had a few cocktails by the fireplace after dinner. The breakfast and gym were great, lobby and outdoor furniture are top notch. Would have preferred additional savory snacks to compliment the sweet. The grounds are massive and worth exploring, and definitely check out V Marketplace. We will come back for the pool next summer. The downside is my wife took every opportunity to add to the 'gram! The property and fall colors are definitely photo worthy. We will be returning to Hotel Villagio for its service, amenities, and proximity to top tier dining by TK and otherwise.…
We had an amazing two-night experience during our stay at Hotel Villagio in Napa this past week. From our arrival at the property where we were greeted warmly by the valet staff to when we departed and given a warm send-off by the front desk, the service at Hotel Villagio was impeccable. The rooms themselves are modern and well designed, and the hotel grounds has undergone some nice renovations since we last visited a couple of months ago. We enjoyed the little touches provided by the hotel, including free snacks in the room and breakfast included as well. The hotel had a wide variety of food options for breakfast, including Bloody Mary’s, lox/bagels, fruits, meats/cheeses, a daily rotation of standard breakfast fare (e.g, breakfast burritos, sausage, frittatas), and pastries. Hotel Villagio is part of The Estate, which also includes some great dining options, retail, and another hotel option, Vintage House. We utilized The Spa at the Estate which had great service as well. The hotel itself is located in Yountville and walking distance to many of the outstanding restaurants in the area. All in all, this has been our favorite hotel stay to date in the Napa area (compared to a different hotel in Yountville and a stay in downtown Napa) and I highly recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to stay in Napa Valley. …
The property is gorgeous and impeccably maintained, our room was spacious and beautifully designed in a contemporary style. The hotel service staff were all wonderful (especially the female bartender). However, attempts to reach the hotel manager (to get help with a booking error) were unsuccessful despite leaving voicemail messages and sending emails. Because of this we won't be back.
I stayed at Villagio only because it is part of the amex fine hotels and resorts . This is surprising to me, the level of service was horrible . Will never go back and i will make sure amex platinum program is aware of this.
Hotel Villagio was the perfect place to stay for a girls weekend in wine country. The beds were extremely comfortable and all of the amenities including a full breakfast, snacks in the room and the golf cart rides around town were welcome additions. Looking forward to my next trip already.
An overrated five star hotel. An expensive five star hotel should meet and exceed one’s exceptions. The Villiago has been a huge expensive disappointment. They have not managed to get the basics right. We spent far to much time asking reception to get the basics right…room cleaned before 4pm, water in room etc etc. It would be far better to start in a basic motel as they would get more right than this hotel.
Loved the hotel, great location. Rooms are spacious …love the wine and snacks provided in the room. Nice breakfast each morning! Nothing but good things to say, would definitely come back and stay! Would recommend to family and friends!
We had an wonderful visit at Villagio. The room was comfortable and the grounds well kept. The only negative we experienced was the housekeeping left a room service tray with food on it outside our door and it sat there for 2 days and when cleaning the room did not replace the used coffee pods or water bottles. The fitness facility is not maintained well and is lacking in equipment.
It’s a fair hotel. Agree with other recent google reviews in that linens were dirty- bathrobes visibly stained. Towels small and thin. Service was overall poor, particularly from the valet/greeting experience. Definitely not a five star resort as advertised.
